I had an interview last Monday. I sent a thank you card. I just found out it's OK to call the person who interviewed you. I would like to do that tomorrow. Or should I wait a little longer? What I don't know is what to say or ask when I call. Any suggestions

It depends on what they said to you after the interview. If they said "we will be in touch with you by the end of the week," by all means call tomorrow. If they said "we have a bunch of interviews and we will be in touch either way." Then I would wait. Good luck to you and hope you get the job. Take care!

Congrats on the interview and Good luck with getting the job! Did they give you a time line? Like when they thought they would get back to you about whether or not you were getting the job? If you already sent a Thank You card, I would think that would be good enough for now. If it were me, I'd wait at least until mid-week or NEXT week to just touch base with them again.

When did you send the thank you card? I would wait until I was sure the person has received your note and had a chance to respond. When you call, thank the person for the opportunity to interview. Mention briefly how your skills are suited for the position, and maybe throw in something interesting you have learned about the company since the interview.
