Suppose you are earning the same salary as you are earning by working in a company. Now, in such a situation, would you opt for working at home and quiting your job outside. Remember, if you quit your job with a company and work home, you might be earning the same salary but you will not get the benefits that you get by working in a company. I am talking about things linke, pension, mediclaim , loan facility etc. So, would you prefer to quit your present job with a company, if you are able to earn the same salary figure by working at home?

Why work for someone else when they decide your pay when you can work for yourself and give yourself a raise each week, each month, every year... You can always do both though too if you want to keep those benefits but you're just trading time for money and usually not what you are worth.

I would love to work at home but I must be alone at that time so that no one will bother me with random tasks that won't pay the bills if you know whjat I mean :)

If i was not so insecure with life and how I could get money, then yes, I would love to work from home. I'm doing technical studies in accounting, and have always dreamed of having my office at home. For now i've got a job and am also working on a couple of sites online that gives me a good income that you can check(in my profile).

I would prefer to work at home. I think that the best part about working at home is the freedom and the flexibility. I love to plan my work on my own, and I also think that is really nice to be able to decide when I want to work and when I want to do other things. If I work in a company I can't decide when to work, and I would miss the freedom that I get when I work at home. Of course the are also good things about a job in a company, and it is nice to have co-workers to talk to. i kind of miss that when I am working at home, but I think that there are so many other great things about working at home especially my independence.

I think I won't.Actually,it is not as good as someone think working at home. There are also something worrisome such as you have to cook at home while you are working busy.Have to pay the extra fees that you needn't to care in the office, have to clean your house while it's done by others in office. For me, I love the regular time in office and I feel safe in office. So I am going to endure my boss instead of enduring my jumbled house. beeduzhe

I would love to be able to work from home but I really have no idea how to go about it or what I would do. I have health insurance on a family plan through my husbands work so it wouldn't affect that. I have struggled in jobs because I have a disability which means I have to limit my hours to stay well and have any quality of life, and I constantly have had to explain to bosses why I can't do extra hours when they need someone etc. - it would be wonderful never have to explain that to anyone again.

I began working for myself just over a year ago, and although I do not have benefits, I am working towards having a decent retirement and everything else. I don't think I would want to go back to working for someone else. THe benefits for me working for myself are that I am able to be more flexible with my schedule, I am home more for my kids, I get to still make money and be a more active parents for my kids at the same time. It isn;t always easy, but I wouldn't change it.
