I just got a message from my Windows update:
Install Internet Explorer 8
Get the latest Explorer breakthroughs:
Browse and e-mail more safely with SmartScreen(R) Filter
Search, buy, and map quickly with Accelerators
Help protect your privacy with Inprivate (TM) Browsing and
InPrivate Filtering
Get up-to-minute information with Web Slices
--I want to help improve Internet Explorer
--I do not want to participate right now
I switched over to Firefox a month ago so right now I dont really feel the need to
use Internet Explorer but Im curious about the new Internet Explorer 8 features,
"SmartScreen Filter," Accelerators, Inprivate Browsing and Filtering..
Do you find these features beneficial and does it make IE a better product are
these things just unnecessary 'fillers'?

I hate the look of IE8. IE 7 was better looking. Now it looks like they just steamrolled IE7 and called it IE8. I appreciate that they are finally starting to adopt some standards, but Firefox is still a MUCH better choice.

Whats the 'Snag-It' feature about?
Im reading "Activities a feature that allows users to select some text and pass it to a web service to define it (Dictionary.com, Answers.com and similar), translate it, get a map, blog it or submit it to a social bookmarking site like Reddit or digg." Is that the Snag-it? I read that the Activities feature is actually a Firefox extension?
The new look very traditional but more like my new hotmail look but that does not bother me as much.

Hey,
Well still I don't like Internet Explorer 8, and also when it comes to designing a website and things like that, I think that people hate it, because they always have to have bug fixes for Internet Explorer, the whole series. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
