I would say it's a scam. You're only allowed to search 200 times a day and with $500 the pay out that would take months. I have seen too many sites where it's such a high payout and when people get close they run. Or they just never pay. I would definately watch out for this site.

I looked at the site and decided to not join. It would take forever to reach the $500 payout. Plus, the search engine is just annoying. I hate having to scroll down on my main pege, the scroll on the minor page to view what I seached for.

Yes you are right. I did not know about this 500 thing. I dont remember seeing when i signed but defenitely it is not worth it to go through it.
