My best memories from childhood include building snowmen, swinging on our tree swing, my dad teaching me to ride a bicycle and going to my first movie,(Mary Poppins)and going to watch the parades on Main Street with my dad. I grew up in a small town, Monmouth, Illinois. We had snow, thunderstorms, hail storms, tornadoes and humid summers. My sister and I played late in to the night in the summer time and watched the lightening bugs. My mom was a stay at home mom and though we took it for granted at the time, now I think it was really nice having mom at home all the time.

There are many of them but you can't drought down your memories in black and white. But I can say that my childhood is full of memories. Either good or bad but there are many memories in my life.

I do not really have any good memories as a child. I did not have friends, I was lonely, and people picked on me and beat me up. It was no fun.

There are so many hometown memories for me. We played ball in the street, went to the movies every friday night, went to the park for the ballgames, sitting outside at night just looking at the stars and watching the traffic go by, and sitting on the front porch swing while neighbors stopped by and talked awhile. Neighborhoods use to be close and caring, we knew everyone and they knew us. As kids because of the closeness of the neighbors, we didnt get by with much.

I remember going to Disney Land for the first time. This was a very exciting time for me. I had such a great time. Its where I meet my first girl friend and had my first kiss. We walked aroung that park going on all the rides together having so much fun. It was one of the best times of my life.
