when i moved into my own place after living at home with my parents, i had just gotten married, so i never truly lived alone for a very long time. i did when i seperated from my hubby but only for 6 months. i like being alone because i am an only child so i really dont mind the solitude at all.

Of course I am happy, with all the advantages and disadvantages. Sooner or later I should be independent. It happened 1 week after I got married.

Hello there, Moving and living on your own is a mixture of excitement and bit sadness too. And don't be scared with the bills dear, you will surely pay it,and by the time you have made your first bill payment...(on your own)...you will feel great about yourself too. You will feel the confidence that, you can really survive now,and be proud of yourself becoz at last you can stand by your own. Be happy and congrats ...

unfortunately, I haven't experience that yet. but that would be awsome because i get to be independent and do what ever i want. but that means you got have your own Cable, phone line & Internet, Water and Electricity..all to be paid for by me. probably not ready for now, but some day

Yup thats what Im worried about, though you can live fine without cable or the internet thoes are things that are a luxury.. i will not have cable im sure unless I move into a veary cheap place. though I have often herd. you get what you pay for sop be careful..the town that I live in now its a 200$ deposit for elctric as well as water.. thats what has stopped me from getting a place really. I had deposit and first months rent just not the other...

Moving out on your own is a great feeling. You will enjoy having to put up your feet and not worry about anyone around you. That is great your sister is helping you out. It is hard out there is you do not have enough money to pay your bills. Save as much as you can. Try and have atleast 3 month or more saving and you will be fine. Good luck and happy lotting.

I have been live on my own for many years now and it is hard tho... but if you have a stable job then it will pay off, nothing to worry about. Dont worry if you have enough money to move out then you should cuz live depend on someone is not good either... soon or later, you still have to find your own place so why not now.

Hm technically I've never been in my own place. It's always been either my parents' place or my husband's and my place. But the first place away from my parents was pretty exciting and the first house we bought even more so.

I remember that day well, I was so excited and I was going on a new adventure! I have been living alone since the age of fifteen and I have really enjoyed this way of living. I would not have it any other way now as I'm so used to living alone. My mother gave me lots of cutlery and furniture and things so it was quite an easy transition for me. I don't like the moving process, I've had to move to lots of different places in my time but now I'm settled in a one bedroom flat and I absolutely love it. There can be stress when you are moving out for the first time but I don't remember any of that; all I remember is happiness, excitement, freedom and every other feeling under the sun!

I don't know because I've yet to be able to do this but I do look forward to hopefully being able to do it sometime in the future. Right now I'm just trying to find the right college I want to go to and hopefully the area there will be cool enough for me to want to move there. I think that I will be able to make it having my own house but I just lack the funds to get started so I'll just have to keep working at it.
