Do you ever find your thoughts running parallel with the thoughts of others?

sometimes i do and sometimes i don't. I have started some discussions that were already started, but i was new :). I started some by going through the discussion going about, just another idea with a source of inspiration. I can say that i have my own way of thinking but as we are all humans living in the same world and learning similar things, there are times when my thoughts run parallel with the thought of others...just imagine how many mylot users are online at a particular time.

Sometimes I do, yes, but just like the examples you shared, more times than not there are enough differences between my own musings and the other discussion contexts to warrant each of them their own merit. There have been a few times when I've posted news stories and then found out someone else has done the same though. The search functionality here isn't really that reliable, that's for sure! What I do find odd is that in all these discussions you shared, not ONE of them includes the word "ferret"?

Zeitgeist--the spirit of the times?, Providence? Universal consciousness? I don't know how/why these things happen, but apparently for the Wright Brothers--they just barely beat someone else by about a week in patenting... Then we have Tesla and Edison, there was Darwin and another researchers separate and unrelated findings that confirmed each others' theories, and so on and so forth. There's something there--something we've not yet learned how to see or to understand.
