I was watching the news yesterday and they were mentioning some new laws that were going to effect sometime this year soon or even later next year. What about you is your state coming up with some new laws or whereever you live, are there any new laws going into effect. The new laws that I am talking about here are: 1.) Anyone 8 and younger have to be in a child booster seat. 2.) Everyone driving in the vehicle must wear a seatbelt. Before it used to be anyone driving in the backseat of the car under the age of 15 must be wearing a seatbelt. If they are over the age of 15 they don't have to wear a seatbelt and anyone riding in the front seat must wear a seat belt no matter what age. 3.) Anyone under the age of 18 cannot be in their car driving and texting. Lol, I think on this one no one should be texting and driving. I don't know why they put a age limit on that one. Cause not only do people under 18 text and drive. I've seen people over 18 texting and driving. 4.) They are thinking of banning the usage of phones all together while driving through a school zone. I think this one is a good one too, because there are children involved. As far as I knew that while driving through the school zone here there were certain areas you had to use a hands free phone. But they're thinking of doing away with it all together. So what about in your area any new laws.

Wow, some of those sound like interesting new laws. I agree with you on the texting one. I just moved to NY state and so I'm just getting familiar with all of the laws in general. Here you're not aloud to do ANYTHING with a mobile phone while driving. Not texting or calls when you're the driver. Unless of course you have a blue tooth and can do it hand held. I think the age range on that law in Texas is nuts. It should be for everyone!

Oh yeah most definitely on the texting thing. My friend and I both mentioned that while driving we do texting as well and we both are well over the age of 18. They should definitely make that law for everyone and I hope they do.
