This might be a really good idea if the website actually spent some time telling people WHY they are planning on marching in Washington As for protesting simply because they do not like the way the government works, I think I'll pass. They have the right to complain, and I have the right not too

It's simple, really. In my long years I protested lots of things. I protested because of Civil Rights and yet we still have racism in the U.S. I protested a war that we shouldn't have been involved in and could not possibly win, but still Viet Nam continued. That's why we have elections. If you do not like the idiots running things, vote their sorry butts out of office. As for rights, since 9-11 you have had NO rights. The government already took them away under the Patriot Act which people gladly allowed them to do because the average American was scared spitless. Protest if it makes you feel better

I can't afford to go to DC but I'm putting the word out to anyone who will listen. It should be a very dramatic day--there will be paid rabble-rousers there to try to get the crowd to fight and maybe riot and I'm sure that there will be a huge police presence. If it does get out of hand, it might be the start of more aggressive actions by patriots who want our rights back.

II2aTea, we are NOT aching for a fight but we will fight for the return of our democratic republic. We are no longer represented. The liberals aren't represented and the conservatives aren't represented. Congress and Senate is mostly in it for themselves and the money they can make and the power they can gain. Our voices no longer count and we're losing our liberties. If you can't see that, fine. But don't say we're hoping for a fight, please. We just want our country back for all of us.

My apologies if I misread. From your comments it seemed as though you were actually looking forward to a violent upriseing. My mistake, I suppose.
