Apostasy - The worst thing that can happen to a christian (repost)

Since I can't paste my article - thanks myLot! I'll give a summarized version. Last week I was reading Hebrews 6:4-6 describing what many people call apostasy. The verses in Hebrews warn Christians that it's impossible to regain salvation if they fall away. However other scriptures say that a backslider can always come back. So I wonder what's the fine line? Well, I don't want to find out so I try to repent any time I feel like I'm starting to fall away. For Christians, that want to be saved it's important that we continually repent for our sins and stay in contact with God by reading his Word,learning his will for our life, and praying without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
