I guess I didn't realize there was anti virus for mobile phones! wow! Maybe it's because I don't have a blackberry or iphone. I don't access the internet with my cell phone. So I have no need for any type of anti virus protection.

Hey, Yea most people don't really need an anti virus for their phones unless there are viruses out to actually target their phones. Honestly, that would be quite funny if in a few years time, anti virus companies might be providing anti viruses for phones probably too. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

I don't have an antivurs on my cell phone, as I never knew that I should have any. I do access teh internet but I don't access it to often or for very long. It is amzing how much technology has advanced, as I never thought they would have antivirus for cell phones. It is just to hard to keep up with technology at times, as it moves so fast. I will have to look into it and see if there is any for my cell phone. Thank for the info, and happy mylotting.

Anti virus for mobile phone is for older type. And this virus attack certain operating system in smart phone. If we have java system in our phone than the anti virus will useless. And some symbian phone with certain operating system known has viruses on it like symbias os s60v1 and s60v2, sure it is need an antivirus. But for the next generation of symbian like s60v3 and above we did not need an antivirus because there is no virus attacking yet. that was i read from smart phone forum..

I am quite satisfied by the performance of Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. It updates daily and tries to keep my net safe and my PC healthy. I own a smartphone too but never use any antivirus as I don't use it much for net surfing or downloading. But as you are claiming Kaspersky is not good for you, then you can switch to other antivirus softwares like a-Squared anti-Malware or ESET Nod32 etc.

i don't an antivirus installed in my mobile but when i connect it to my pc i use my avg free edition antivirus software to scan my mobile. and till yet i have not had any type of problems regarding any virus or something. i have a samsung star touch phone it's new so i don't fear much for the anti virus yet. and i don't really put unknown applications into my mobile so it's completely risk free from the viruses.
