Rejected - WHAT?!

I don't know how many of you participate in Mylot tasks but I know that every once in a while I check them out and participate in the ones that interest me.
Well this evening I decided to complete a couple of tasks because I had the extra time. One of the tasks I completed was very simple and only worth 3 cents. No big deal. I simply had to click on the link, sign up on this site, and then send the task creator my user name for that site. So I did it. Didn't take me any time at all. Well I just got a message that the REJECTED my task!!! The message said please tell me your REAL user name on the website. Uhh why would I lie?!
I thought maybe I made a mistake? Which didn't make sense, because I use the same couple of user names most of the time. So I went back to his website and was able to sign in under the user name I gave him.
Now granted it was only 3 cents, but it just ticks me off that this person rejected the task. My thought is that he is trying to get all of these people to sign up JUST so that they earn money and then he scams people out of the money they're suppose to earn for signing up.
I clicked the ! and told Mylot about what happened but I wish there were a more personal way I could get in contact with them so that I was sure they'd stop him. I'm really quite upset that this guy is scamming people!
Have you ever had anything like this happen to you in the tasks??

Well there are many occasions that many have been rejected for even the minute reasons. So I really wont go to that area because it will take around 20-30 mins to complete a task & within that time I think we can make around 10 responses/comments. That means we can earn much more with discussions than wasting our time with tasks. I think its better to put our extra time into discussions or posts.
I would have checked it out if the payments would have been around 30 cents or more.
Happy Lotting

It could also be a mistake of the site you join with. I have encounter this kind of sign up error in the past where in my name was not under the referrer I specified. This is cause sometime by an error in the sign up script(new sites ofter have this) or some procedure in my browser that I have to do first. Is there a way for you check your upline? Did you exchange PM with the task creator? I'm just giving the other the benefit of the doubt.

Yes - before I even contacted Mylot I sent this guy a message and told him that I just signed into the website using the username I gave him. I told him he had so much time before I was contacting the admin. And well I never heard back from him.
He probably doesn't really care though. It's one of those people on here JUST for tasks. He has 1 post, that's it.

You are right, you did your part and his lack of action just deserve to be reported. I think there should be a task creator rating beside their name just like what we have here in discussions where we could gauge somehow the creator. For the moment let's charge this to experience and hope not to see him there anymore. But how will we know who?

I stay away from tasks eversince I was scammed by a mylot member who duped me into signing up as his referral on two sites. I also contacted the admin, but no luck there of ever getting credited because they just informed me that they have emailed this member to check on his tasks and reward me for the task completed. It's as if the member just forgot to pay or reward me for the task completed, when in fact three other members complained of having the same issue, completing the same task and not getting paid or rewarded by this mylot member. So I don't do any tasks no matter how appealing they sound in adding extra money to add to my earnings.

yes i can relate to what you mean. I just came back to mylotting after months of being idle and was pretty excited when i saw that they are now offering tasks on mylot. But easily got disappointed when i did the task specifically according to their instruction but just got rejected.

Tasks are a part of MyLot that I haven't participated in. Perhaps because I understand there is a means for your task to be rejected and for you to not get paid. I'd rather read and type, things I might consider worth doing on their own, and possibly get paid a tiny bit for the effort.

You should not have to give out your name address and personal information like that when you are doing tasks. I would complain to myLot. I do not know if it is against their terms of service in assigning tasks but it should be. There is a scam going around where a person pays a person pennies for signing up to a website and the website pays them dollars for a referral and you have to sign-up and request information as if you are a customer. I do not like the shady deals. See this website

I know how it feels, not that I've had the same experience but it feels sad to be cheated on. I'm not trying to pass judgment on whomever it was who posted that task, but it is always a risk because they hold control over whether they are going to actually pay you for the services you have provided for them. But in this case, the lack of valid proof makes it appear as though this is really a form of cheating. I join your cause in the hope of banning such people from the site to prevent them cheating on more people in the future.

I do the task from sharon buck. Two of my tasks approved and 5 tasks rejected. That is bad. But I will do the task again
