Why people like politics? I think They are sophisticated people.

I found a definition of "sophisticated" that said this: Having a refined knowledge of the ways of the world cultivated especially through wide experiences. I'm studying politics in university, I'm interested in government and politics and the use of power in our society.. however I don't think I fall under this definition of all. People like politics or study politics for all sorts of reasons. Personally - I'm interested in the way government works, I'm interested in the forms of governments and how politics play a role in decision making (in regards to my country, in regards to how other countries use politics, etc). A person's interest in politics could simply stem from their parents or peers interest in politics or possibly because they are interested in becoming involved in politics or using it in their advantage. I don't think that somebody's interest in politics automatically classifies them as "sophisticated" and I don't think that people who aren't as interested in politics are "unsophisticated", especially under the definition of the word that I found.

I like history, especially, stories about how did politicians succeed or how a man grew in poverty but became a king at least. I like Chinese history a lot, because China has the longest feudal history, about 5000 years! There were tremendous wars and conflicts inside the forbidden city and palace. One of a chinese saying goes similar to this: you can know what would happen now from history. So, I am not the one love polictical news but I love those sophisticated politician stories.
