Hi,dear all my mylotters,Have you ever make your extra money online by selling & buying on Ebay? Well,i am now starting it,as some of my friends earn some pretty much money by selling things up there, and Ebay does accept Paypal as the way we pay and get paid.Yes,it sounds great, but you know as soon as I started it sometime ago,I met problem with my paypal account and buyers. You know what, after my deal with the buyer was done,he paid me,and the I sent his the goods he need, but just after I sent our the goods,I was informed by Paypal service center that the moeny was return due to some unknown reason, and so I did make great effort in order to find out why and take back the money which should belong to me,but at last, paypal center did nothing help, they only said to me that the buyer may have paid me the money using a credit card, and he have the right to ask the bank which issue the credit card to cancel the payment,so that was probaly why my money was return back, and that is outside paypal's control and service. So,at last,I lost USD200. So,any body here use mylot facing such crazy things? especailly seller, did you think your right was not being properly protect by Ebay and paypal? Or,is it because I am from Asia, and Ebay have special rules for Asian countries? Thank you!

that is awful to lose money or items that was not paid by the buyer. i didn't know that the buyer has the right to refund his money ever after receiving the item. that is why i am not really keen to use ebay cause i don't know how it works and how the seller or the buyer will fool the other party. so i stay away from it. i thought that paypal has full control over the transaction. i don't understand how to protect our interest without be taken advantage by the buyer and seller. sometimes they say that the buyer is more at risk than the seller. i don't know what to say cause i have not experienced selling nor buying any stuff online specially the shipment cost could really bring the price up that it is almost as expensive the brnad new ones. i am from the philippines and there are not much seller from the ebay philippines that sells their items in good price or affordable price. so i just plan to buy brand new items soon.

i have no particular product in mind. as long as it is affordable i may consider buying it. but for example i will like to consider ipod touch 2nd, iphone 3g, nokia 3120, computer LCD monitor, digital cameras. anything that is good to buy. but i will only buy them one at a time cause i need to save money for each item. so i may buy first which is in more affordable price. but i have not seen any yet that sells their items in good price.

I'm an eBay rep and also a small time seller. Yes, you can make money on eBay by selling stuffs, almost anything that is not illegal can be sold on eBay. Rules per site varies so you might want to check the eBay site in your country to know more about selling rules. Anyway, the rules is pretty simple. Don't sell something that is illegal and don't sell items that has trademarks on them without you being authorized as a distributor.

It's easy. You can start looking around your home for stuffs to sell. You can even go to www.ebay.com and start searching for things that you might have on your home or possible items you can sell. You can find how much the item is being sold on eBay and from that fact, you will have an idea how much you can sell your item.

I have been buying and selling things on Ebay since 2004, and so far have never had an issue with paypal payments being returned. In things that I bought, I've only had a problem with a package one time, and that was due to the buyer forgetting to send it. As soon as I reported the issue, 2 days later I received my package. I think she was just delaying sending or something. I did have someone complain once about a product I mailed to them. However, I worked it out with them and they shipped it back. I then resold the item to someone else. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my item.. the next buyer was very happy. Sometimes you get ripped there, and I have had friends that have had bad experiences, but luckily overall, mine have been good. I have a lot to list at the moment, but haven't taken the time to do so!

I have only used paypal. They used to allow you to accept money orders, but have recently eliminated that method. I want to say that Western Union is a payment option on there, but I'm not real sure. Western Union in itself is a very reliable payment method, so I would trust using that if it was an option. They also have the ability to do a bank to bank transfer sort of method (something like that). It's a new option, but so far I haven't had to use that one. Good luck!

400 USD,sounds great! So I think the most important is what product to choose. Now to start this business,I get headache about products,I don;t know what product can sell well up there, currently,my friend told me that clothes, shoes and toy can be a choice.

I think shoes, clothes are common product. So, that is very small potentially to choose by customers. But, may be you can try that product. Who knows the result if not try first

ebay is an online auction site best describe as a vast ever-changing global marketplace where items are sold daily. its very surprisingly simple to get started selling products on ebay. using a simple listing process, you can put up for auctions your unwanted household items, low cost item bought from garage sale or flea market, handmade craft, wholesale products and just about anything another human might need or want. But there are also many downfalls you cant meet the seller so you don't know if he will actually buy your goods or not. He can also claim on ebay that he has not got the goods you sold him so its pretty risky. Well i think that the guy claimed that he didn't got the goods u sold him hence the money was taken back, and it has nothing to do with Asian rules and regulation. my opinion would be why keep your money on paypal if u got the money then just transfer it somewhere else.

Yep, I have been selling on eBay for some time now. I sell antiques and collectibles. I've been pretty successful so far, and no one has stiffed me yet (knock on wood!). But, for the very first time ever, I actually bought some things of eBay (I never had really wanted to). I am a crafter and my mom is a jewelry maker, and the prices for sterling silver supplies has gotten very expensive from the website she's been buying from for years, so I thought, "let me look on eBay!" Not only did I find some INCREDIBLE prices, but it came directly from China and with all free shipping. I was very hesitant to purchase something from China, but I couldn't pass up the price and it was the exact same quality item we would have bought from the jewelry website or from a local jewelry bead shop. I'm only buying from them from now on! XOXO Busie

I have tried in the past... I don't think Ebay os for me.. I never made success from the site... It takes a lot of time and effort, and I find it complicated. Iknow people find it easy and promising.. it is! It's just not for me I guess.

I sell my textbooks from college. Each semester I make atleast 200 hundred bucks. It is way better than selling them back to the bookstore.
