Letter writing by hand will disappear?

with the development of the communication technology,more and more people use mobile phone,internet,email etc.instead of letter writing,letter writing by hand is used fewer and fewer,do you think letter writing will disappear?is it important to write letter by hand nowdays?

I always send birthday greetings, or for other special occasions. a hand written card with a hand written note. Even though it is easier to use the other methods. i believe that it is much more personal to do it by hand.
I do not believe that sending personal notes,or cards by hand will ever go away.
