Sony Ericsson w380i a major rip off?

Its been eight months since sony ericsson released this phone model. And due to my excitement i bought this phone because it has features from a mp3 player and a cellphone. And then few months later i noticed that it is a low quality phone because it has a low signal reception. Meaning it is unusable at time. Making me think that it is not worth it all. What a ripoff! :(
