what makes a sound from katana?

one thing from japan that i admire is the samurai, i like its sword, katana. however, i wonder, what makes a sound when the blade is pulled out from its sheath. any body knows?

what makes the sound when its pulled out? probably the sword hitting the sheath. what sound does it make when pulled out from its sheath. probably some loud yodeling. or maybe something like a harmonica being played by someone with no tongue. or just your basic "swish" sound.

depends the quality i guess if swong hard enough its like the air itself is cut like a shringing sort of noise
