i don`t know why my friend dont travel

I love to travel and like to go on planes. They travel really fast and can fly long distance in little time. They can go over land and sea so they are really the most convenient way to get my destinations that are far away. I know some people are scared of flying on planes. It might have something to do with being afraid of heights of being scared of crashing. Lately a few planes have crashed so that is worrying.

I also know a friend who doesn't want to have a travel by air. I don't understand why. Perhaps it is not because he is afraid of the height. Because when you are on the plane, you won't feel you are high above and the feeling is not the same when you stand in the high buildings. Perhaps he believes that the plane accidents happen more often than other public transportation. I don't agree to it. I love China
