What housework you don't like most ?

I think the chore that I most dislike is cleaning the toilets. I am a stay at home mom, so I usually have time to get the cleaning done, and I enjoy doing the cleaning, because I really like to have a clean house. But, when it comes down to cleaning the bathroom, I don't mind cleaning the counter, the sink or the tub, but the toilet absolutely grosses me out! If it were as simple as scrubbing the inside with the brush and flushing, that would be fine, but there is the whole outside to clean around the base, the seat, and the inside rim. It's just overall a horrible job! Give me dishes any time!

I think that the housework I do not like the most would be doing the dishes. Though we live with my fiance's parents and they have a dishwasher, bowls get lined up from various things, and it seems we take several arm loads out just to put several arm loads back in. I could stride myself, but rather, I do this chore when I am a bit busy... So I suppose this is why I do not like to do this chore. Other chores are not as bad. Our chores include : Our bedroom, Bathroom, and trash on Wednesday's this includes : The kitchen floor, and utility room floor (where the washer, dryer and kitty litter box are, Our bathroom trash and cleanup, occasionally bathroom trash only from the master bath... So yea... But those aren't so bad, because I am not so busy on Wednesday's. I guess it's more that I am expecting to do these chores on Wednesday, where dishes are an everyday thing. WOOPS SORRY FOR A MOUTHFUL!

The thing that i hate to do the most is to do the dishes it seems like iy is a never ending job for me. their is always something that needs to be washed.

i don't like to wash the cloths ang hang up them.after taking the bath, i don't like to do anything more!i just want to lay on the bed to do the things what i like!

The housework I do not like the most would be doing the dishes.It is so dirty that I will feel sick too to see.So I will let others do this instead of me.

the source of word battle among my children is always about who washes the dishes. that is also what i dislike the most. even if i had devised a schedule for the three children to do the dishes, still they had to argue when someone is out of the house on his scheduled day to wash dishes. i think that is the only housework they carefully take care keeping track of the schedule, lol.

Hi Grace, I really detest ironing - to me, it's worse than scrubbing the toilets or mopping the floors. It is terrible having to iron clothes on a hot day - the heat and sweat. Not even the air-conditioner helps. And then, if any clothes get creased during ironing, it's so hard to get that crease out!

I absolutely hate washing the dishes. It wasn't bad when I had a dishwasher. But when I moved, the dishwasher stayed behind. I have even gone so far as to buy plastic utensils and plates so that I don't have as much to wash! Is that lazy, or what? LOL

My most hated housework would be cleaning the toilet or bathroom. Because i just don't like the hair trapped on the top of the sink. The sight makes me vomit. I can not also stand the dirt that is clogged in between the wall and floor tiles. It's dark and very dirty. So that's my least favorite work around the house. Cleaning the floor would be much better than this one.

I think im going to go with the majority and say that ihate doing thise dishes too, so much infact that i will not do them unless i really really have to, my partner does them instead. I have this weird thing about putting my hands into the water with all of those bits of food floating around, it makes me feel kinda sick.

What a fun discussion, I actually find housework relaxing, especially if I am also listening to my ipod! I HATE vaccuming though. I usually ask that my husband does that! I love making sure I have a clean kitchen, although I have to admit it is the most work. If you think about it, the kitchen is the most used room of a house. I also really enjoy washing clothes. I love the smell of clean clothes. Where I live we don't have dryers, so you hang ALL your clothes to dry. Therefore you have more opportunity to smell the freshly cleaned clothes as you hang them up. Like I said before fun topic. Have a Blessed Day!

hehe,I thought that the answer is floor cleaning as soon as I saw your topic,the same with you,maybe most women hate to do this,for it is a physical work,women are not able to be competent of it.

Vacuuming! Ooooh I hate it....lol.... That is definitely the one that I want to avoid most. We live in a rented apartment which has a nasty sort of sludge colored carpet, and whatever I do to it it just looks like some sort of murky swamp. I am afraid something nasty will come up out of it and swallow me... I suppose that is why I hate vacuuming, because I feel I do all that work and it still looks bad..lol We also have a black cat and with the fur she sheds, I swear we could make a whole new kitty! My other evil is dishes, but I was greatly blessed that this apartment has a dishwasher!! We are moving when our lease is up in February, so when we look around for apartments, I will be looking at the floors, and hoping for a dishwasher! :0))) Now, everyone take a break, put yer feet up!

For me the housework I don't like most is cleaning the BATHROOM. I absolutely hate cleaning the bathroom. In the shower, the soap scum buildup on the wall & floor tiles drive me nuts whether or not I'm trying to clean them. The face-basin isn't that bad but becomes horrible when water won't go down the sink! At this time I'll mix boiling water & baking soda to pour down the drain while using an old toothbrush or some pointy thing to remove blockage(so not a pretty sight). The upside is that the face-basin smells decent afterward. Moving onto the bathroom mats, I don't understand where so much mud comes from, it'd just beyond me. The not-so-bad part of this whole bathroom cleaning thing is cleaning the mirror. I usually alternate my hands to give my arms a nice workout (think wax-on, wax-off). Cleaning the floor is just pure drama & in an effort to maintain my sanity I am not even going to mention cleaning the toilet!

Well the thing i hate the most when it cmes to household is washing the dishes i just hate this thing i can tolerate doing eveyrthing but i cannot do dishes, they just make me go so sick while i wash its too boring and at times even gross.
