Oh it's terrible, I really am going to have to take a step back. There's just so many past discussions to read on mylot, there have been so many things to figure out and I've spent far too much time being absorbed by mylot, that I've actually put on weight...tut...tut....
Has anyone else noticed weight gain since they've found mylot,do you think you should be spending more time exercising?

Oooooh achy head, that's not good, exercise your eyes by looking out the window as far as you can for about 15 to 20 minutes once in awhile.

Letran, yes an empty stomach can give you a head ache, at least line your stomach with a banana or something, it's not good to skip a meal, if you can help it.

Yes, am guilty of sitting long hours in front of the computer mylotting and depriving myself of my daily exercises. I am getting rounder with the lack of mobility. You remind me that it is time to take a leave from mylotting and do something to shed the weight that is becoming uglier each day.

Yes Zandi, am feeling so guilty about it. Really not good for the joints all this sitting and slouching, the blood needs to curse through the veins, clean out the toxins, lungs need good fresh air from a good walk or run, or we'll get very rickety before our time!
I think I am going to have to make a pact with some people that we do some exercise daily before being allowed to mylot....we're having a bad influence on eachother!

Hi there Shree! You can laugh all you want...honestly....it's terrible....but apparently it does happen to new comers abit, but I am definitely curbing it! I've an addictive type of personality, and then I quickly get bored of something too, so need to pace myself and be sensible! Thanks for dropping in!

Hi sritrnity, it makes no difference what I do I never lose weight. I also never put on weight, I'm always the same weight, which is good as I'm mylotting now with a packet of jelly beans.I hope it doesn't become a problem for you.

Yes, I've followed the diet they put the roomie on to lose enough weight to do a gastric bypass on her, she's lost over 40 pounds.
Now, post-gall bladder, I took it easy for a while, but really had no problems with eating pretty much whatever I wanted - part of my problem actually, I was eating everything in SIGHT!
The OTHER roommate had the surgery in the spring and had LOTS of trouble, but I think she thought it'd be an instant cure, and didn't allow for the air they blow into the abdomen causing problems for up to a month later and the incisions causing more pain. Or, its been a year since my surgery and one of the spots still inches and another sometimes caused a stretchy sort of pain until I lost some of the weight.
NORMALLY they do 4 cuts, but, because of my weight they had to do 5 on me, 2 of the original cuts and the 5th one are fine, its the navel one that cause the stretchy pain and the top one that I'm having itchiness with.
anyway - yeah, I've been doing real well with this diet and hope to continue losing weight

I have put on weight, but some of it wasn't just mylot. I've been a bit stressed in the past trying to earn some money, yes, but also I was stressed with figuring out plans for mine and my fiance's wedding. Now though it's not too far away so our stresses are gone, and now it's just nervousness, but even that hasn't set in. Yes I've gained weight, and we're drinking slim fast to help curb that, though I have jogged to and fro a room to lose a few calories. Haven't got my heart a pumping which is what helps lose weight though.
Have a great day, and just pace yourself! Don't try to respond to everything that's ever been on mylot, just not yet anyway! I haven't done that though could you imagine the money?. Mylot's a great community.

Yes, I do need to lose a little weight. Luckily I won't be wearing a dress, so as long as I can fit into the shirt, and jeans... I am watching what I eat, lol, though sometimes not in the right way (that is to say, I watch it go in my mouth but not watch what I put in my mouth... lol)... Good luck to you on your own goals! Have a wonderful day!

Oh Tamara, thats really not good, sorry I hope you don't mind me saying that. I've realised the power of mylot in the last month or so, and see that many people are active for many hours, and I have wondered about their health. I am really gonna try and pull back abit and get my exercise in again and I really hope that you do too. You know there are some mylotters who actually exercise really well and then go onto mylot, I want to be one of them! Thanks for dropping in!

Hi Angelie...actually, since I work online to supplement my income in a number of places, I have lost weight! I become so absorbed in what I am doing, that I forget to eat.
I think one thing that helps me from feeling hungry is that I sip on something cold, such as ice water, the time I am online. That, and I get up at least once an hour and do a bit of housework or walk around a bit.
Best of luck to you.

I have noticed this too. A pound to me is a pound too much.... I need to get up and move around a little more than what I do now. It is like that I have this built in magnet that pulls to mylot and won't let me go for hours. I signed up for the earning section but now it is more than that, Im addicted to mylot...

Anyway I'm going to try now and get something sorted and try to pull back from mylot abit. Hope you are able to! Thanks for this conversation. Best of luck

Hello sritrinity,
With or without mylot, I can put on weight easily *sighs* I think you experienced what we experienced when we first joined mylot - a mylot addict. When I just started, I only think of mylotting and forgot my whole real life world. I love to snack while mylotting too and of course, it helped me to put on some weights *smiles*

Yes thank you, you hit it on the spot! When things are new and interesting then they become addictive. It's my first forum and mylot seems to be a good choice, but is getting to rule me abit and thats not good. Will definitely be taking some steps back to sort my daily routine out. Thank for dropping in gr* and giving me some inspiration.

You’re not alone there! I too have put on weight since I gave up my cleaning job and began studying and writing. My lifestyle is way too sedentary at the moment and since joining MyLot my poor dog doesn’t even get as many walks as she should! I have resolved to make more of an effort towards exercise and I have made a few improvements; if I could just cut down on the Kit Kats now...

Oh throw us some kitkats, I'll help you cut down! Yummy! Ah my mouth is watering now. Tomorrow I'll have to get myself one now. God I'm so easily influenced aren't I!!
yes my dogs are in the same boat, I feel so guilty, but they do go for walks on their own, but they really love it when I take them. Glad to hear you've made a few improvements my turn now! Thanks for dropping in and giving me abit of inspiration.

Hello Sritrinity,
You mean you gain some weight because of too busy Mylotting everyday? I is good because you are spending good time at Mylot and I am sure you are earning a lot extra money here, LOL. Just joking friend.
I like Mylot, everyday I would spend some time to response on interesting discussion. And If I have create a new discussion, then I will be more busy to read all the comments that I have received. Than I take my time to reply back all the response.
But I don't find myself gain any weight, !
Maybe you should do more exercise and make sure you don't sit in front of the computer for too long hours.
@sritrinity (629)

Yes friend thank you for the tip.
i think the problem is that when I start a discussion and it gets alot of responses, then I feel I need to reply to everyone as soon as I can, which then means alot of sitting. So I think the best thing to do is not to start more than one discussion at a time, finish the responses and then do the next discussion.
How many hours do you spend on mylot a day?

.... weird. I was just thinking my arms could be smaller. I don't like arm fat. Sitting in front of the computer all day, the only movement my arms get are typing?? noooooo... seriously need to do something. question that has been roaming my mind is...
Do we have to constantly exercise to be thin and healthy? does it ever stop? I envy those girls who don't do anything and are picture perfect. *sigh*

Yes I think you've got it down, not to mylot in the morning. See before discovering mylot, I used to go online anyway to check my emails for an hour or so and then get off. But whats been happening is that in the morning I check my emails, but then go on and mylot, well thats it then isn't....hours and hours have gone by on some days...and it's just terrible! So I have to hold back now, and just go on for an hour or two a day and no more! It's just that this is not time sometimes to respond to all comments and I get alittle worried that I'm taking too long, but what can I do?

agree, mylotting is addictive, haha! good thing i can do it with my phone whereever i go as long as there is wifi. but i make it a point that i still jog and interact with family and friends. of course, it's a good therapy for stress before u go sleep. enjoy! ü

Welcome to Mylot! Addictive....Isn't it just! Well glad that your still jogging...lucky girl! Thats what I need to do...how long do you jog for?
