For those familiar with the Duggar family, it was just announced today that they are now expecting their 19th child! That is just amazing in this day and age, I can barely handle the two I have!

Well I guess congratulation is in order for the Duggars family. They must have a great support system. You will need alot of support for all those children. Where any of them triplets or twins. Were they like the octomom. How old would these people be. What is the ages of the first. I can barely handle one. I doen't want to see their grocery bill. Happy lotting.

The kids go in age from about 8 month to 21 years. The oldest is married and his wife is expecting also, so there are "only" 17 kids left at home, lol! This family is nothing like the octomom! There are 2 sets of twins, otherwise they were one at a time. They support themselves, all the older ones help out with the younger and everyone does their share of household chores. They even built their own house and all the kids helped. They do have a TV series on TLC network but they already had most of their kids by that point so I'm sure the show is probably only part of their income. The parents wrote a book called "Twenty and Counting" about their family and it has a lot of information about how they manage it all, they also have a website, I don't have a link but if you're interested just do a search on "the Duggars" and I'm sure it will come up.

You would have to be extremely organized and disciplined to handle such a large family. It makes wonder how they find time to make the new babies! I only have one and I can't imagine having that many, although having one can sometimes be difficult simply they don't have a sibbling or two to entertain them so they always want and need mom's and or dad's attention.

Yes, I would think they would be too tired also, to keep having them after this many. The older ones do help with the younger, though, which is how it always used to be, my grandma grew up in a family of 13 and they did that.
