I hate to get older because I know I am aging. At times I do obsess over aging but not to the extreme. I buy face masks and creams. I also buy acne creams. I hardly have acne ever but I have to have it in case of a break out. I think about aging alot it does bother me. I always wear make up everyday and I try to keep out of the sun as much as possible. Everytime I go out in the sun I get freckles. I hate freckles. I am afraid of getting age spots from getting out in the sun. I used to go in tanning beds but now I stay away from them. They make you age fast. I am being more cautious now that I am getting older. I see alot of people that go out in sun all the time and their skin looks like leather. It's not attractive at all. I guess I more concerened with aging than obsessed.

To me I believe I am beautiful the way I am. I don't worry about aging. Wearing make up daily and these antiaging creams will make you age much faster. I try to stay away of all of that. The best thing is to get some vitamin D. The sun is infact good for you. However not the artificial one. Some people are know to get in the sun tan room. Happy lotting.

I was never concerned much with aging until this past week. I just turned 50 and I find it really depressing. I am not at all concerned about my appearance, but I am concerned about how little I have accomplished in my life. I am still struggling from one paycheck to the next, still driving a car full of rust holes, still wearing hand-me-down clothing, etc. I really thought I would be better off by now. There are no "do-overs" and there is nothing more to be done. I have wasted a great deal of time and talent, and I am in the position I am in due to my own poor judgement, but that doesn't make it any less depressing. I guess turning 50 just brought it all to the surface. The fact is, no matter how well you take care of yourself on the outside, the next birthday is still coming.

Worrying too much over something is one of the factors that can accelerate the aging process. As far as I can remember I have never worried over the increasing age. I try to have a balanced diet, drink sufficient water, do some exercise, try not to worry, and avoid exposing myself to something known to damage the skin. The result is many people, including children, have thought I am younger than my real age.
Obsession in most cases can do more damage. Being concerned can lead to better solutions.

What a great topic. Well, actually I do obsess over aging. I am afraid of many things little and big. Sometimes I don't know what to do with myself. I go nuts when I think about my next birthday which is coming up :( and other times I freak out about what I'll look like. I'm in between being comfortable and accepting. I can't get comfortable with the truth, but the truth is it has to end LOL I'm nuts! :P

I am not really that concerned about aging. My philosophy is to age gracefully. I do not waste my money on bleaching face creams, beauty lotions and masks. I have seen friends and relatives agonizing over this problem. to me, they look perfectly okay but they worry unnecessarily.Maybe they move in circles that demand they look good and pretty.

I won't say that I necessarily obsess about aging, but I am concerned about aging. However, I will say that I do take care of myself, always have and look about 10 yrs younger. Anyone can too if they follow a healthy low fat diet, with of course essential fats, drink tons of water, exercise almost every day, wear sunscreen, moisturize, use eye creams, wear flattering stylish clothing. When I do tan outside I'll wear a sunscreen, cover my face because I'll never tan that. I agree about the part if you suntan too much your skin will resemble leather-too true. I once had a coworker who's skin was so leathery brown, constantly pealing, just looked horrible. She didn't even realize how much older she looked than her age too. Plus I have a younger husband too so I wouldn't want to look like the much older woman either.

Aging in inevitable. No matter how hard we try to stop it, it will sure come. We all know that aging manifests physically. It maybe hard for someone to accept it but all we have to do is to do a little tweaking on how we view it. There is so much wisdom on aging. We know things now that we do not know before. We can do things that can help it not to be that obvious but not let it become an obsession. It is part of one's life.

We all feel like that at times I guess. Maybe its a lack of confidence in ourselves. I too used to wonder what it would be like but that was when I was young. Now that I'm getting older pretty fast, I don't mind at all. There are lots of benefits of getting old. You don't really bother what other people think or say about you, but you don't have to LOOK old. What I do is I think back to my youth and ask myself do I want to go through all the misery and heartache of being young? Not for me, its so much better to be content with life as it is and look forward to so many things. Its OK to be concerned tuckersheri, be concerned and take the necessary precautions and then try to forget about it, or you will never want to do any fun things by thinking too much of your looks. Look on bright side and be positive.

Am pretty happy when i realize am getting older each day because i am a christian and it makes me happy to think that the day i will get to heaven to see my Dear Lord is getting closer and closer. I long to go to heaven because i think thats where real life starts which has no end.

Don't you just hate having acne as an adult? I thought that once you grew up out of the teen years pimples would stop. Wow was I wrong. I'm 46 and still get the occasional pimple.
I stay out of the sun and try not to tan as much as possible due not only to the aging effects it has on the skin, but also because of the fear of getting skin cancer.
I've recently started using Avon's Anew anti-aging line of products as well, for two reasons. First, because I'm an Avon representative and I don't want to recommend anything that expensive if I haven't tried it to see if it actually does work. I also use them because I would like to get my skin in better shape and at least slow down the signs of aging on my face.

I really have not obsessed over aging yet. I am still under the 40 mark. I may start obsessing over it if I ever get over 40 though. I do not want to grow old and have lots of gray hair either.

Right now I'm still young, but I don't care about aging. In my opinion, it's more about your personality and how you act than how you look that expresses your true "age".
