I always forget stuff. I would forget my head if it wasn't attacted. J hate being so forgetful. I am always looking for stuff and always misplacing everything. It's a never endind cycle it seems. If I could remeber everything I would be a much better person. I think it would boost my confidence up. I say that because I would be more organized in what ever I do. I feel I am very unorganized and if I were more organized I would remeber. To remember more instead of forget would be awsome.

Not to brag or what, but I think I have a pretty good memory. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that memorizing things for school was always a breeze. I guess you should make sure that always list down things so you it helps you not to forget. Have you had medical consultation so you can get supplements that may be of help? Goodluck dear.Ü

Yes.I am very forgetful.Doctors say should not have any disease, may be daily work, the pressure to bear heavy burdens, sleep can also affect memory, and plenty of rest,is getting older also affect memory. In short you may be too many things, and more attention to rest and reduce the burden on the pressure will be better.Zinc supplement what I heard is a zinc deficiency caused by bad memory.

I do forget a lot of stuff. I thought it was just age or because of my meds and health problems but it looks like a lot of people have the forgetful problem. In a way that's actually comforting to me in a weird sort of way. It makes me feel like I'm not the only one who would forget their head if it was attached. LOL I have found that I have to write myself notes and lists if I am to remember stuff.

hi tuckersheri, i am generally a forgetful person! even at important dates, details or very important things that i should be remembering, i keep on forgetting them. i forgot where i put the keys, my wallet, sometimes my cellphone! its so annoying! one thing i find most helpful is having a list handy. i carry this small notebook everytime (i know its so old-fashion with all the gadgets available in the market!) but then again, its convenient for me. i wish i could remember things easily.. and life would have been a better place for me. hehehe =)

I am actually a balanced person, I may or may not forget sometimes. But most of the time I remember things very well, so I would not categorize myself as a forgetful person. Though my boyfriend is very forgetful. He forgets a lot of time to bring me stuffs I ask him to when we meet. That's why he now uses the reminder facility available in cell phones nowadays. It rings and alarms him about the things he has to collect before leaving home. You can try this idea if you wish! Its really helpful, I mostly have a habit of forgetting people's birthday and finally wish them belated happy birthday, this is the only thing I want to change in myself. I use the birthday reminder thing now! Have a nice day!

I used to remember a lot of things, but with what's happening with my life, sadness, pain and depression, i suddenly start forgetting a lot of stuff. and now, am more of a unorganized person.i tend to put it there and leave it. then, look for it again until i found it.

I've noticed that I tend to forget stuff lately. I can remember but it takes awhile. Perhaps it comes with age. But I hope it won't be that worst like ending up with memory loss.

I have a good long term memory but when it comes to remembering little things on a daily basis I am rubbish at it. What really annoys me is that I will remember the 'little things' I forgot weeks after I was meant to remember them.

I bet you are a very busy person. Give yourself more credit. Before anyone else beilives in you, it starts with you. Forgetting things is not so cool, but imagine if you had nothing to forget. Leave yourself clues, and place forgetful items in obvious places. For example, if your car keys are a problem, install a tiny hook next to your front door. Talking at loud to yourself works wonders. Having alot on your plate is a good thing, imagine an empty plate!!

I was going through the discussion and I found one thing very interesting. Everybody talked about forgetting but nothing about recollecting. Science has proven that humans never forget anything. Our brain can store several version of thesaurus without a problem and you can still recover any page or word from your brain at your will. So more than forgetting the question here is how good are you at recollecting? This is what we find difficult. Its just like finding an address in your hand. You may not know how to find the address but the address will still be there. So basically its like opening a door in your brain which gives you the information you need. But then recollecting which door to open is all that matters. So, am i good at recollecting things. I would say I am not that bad. I have an average recollecting power and I think I am quite happy with it.

i think i am not as forgetful as before. i made a conscious effort before to remember things and not forget where i last placed things. i think that we are in the habit to remember things that we will not develop this habit of forgetting things. it kinds waste a lot of my time looking for stuff i misplaced. and going aruond is not easy also cause it makes me feel dizzy sometimes doing that. and so i had enough of being forgetful and now i rarely forget anything. when i have to bring sometime i make sure before i leave that i have it with me. sometimes before. that i forget if i bought a handkerchief. i will try to feel it in my pocket but i won't feel anything. but i will just later found it that the handkerchief was inside my pocket all along. now i learned my mistakes. and just remember the things that i usually forget. usually i will forget where i have placed my eyeglass. it is such important for me to wear it often so i can prevent my eyes to further deteriorate. and now i don't until now misplaced it or leave it inside the bathroom and forget it was there all along.

I forget things too, sometimes when I am looking for something, I just can't remember where I put it, and once I also forget the key when I lock my house door, fortunately my sister has the key, so we can open the door, but this doesn't often occur, I think almost everyone will have this experience in life

Hi there! I am also forgetful but only with dates like birthdays, other things I might forget in one instance but I'll remember it a little later. Other than that, I can say that I am well organized may it be the office or at home. I suggest you have to take down notes of your things to do, it helps me a lot now that I'm having lapses might be due to anaesthetic reactions as I've undergone several operations. Good Day!

My memory was as sharp as a razor once. Today I am very forgetful. I have become very disorganized. These days, I must write down a list of things I must do or else, they will slip my mind. Fore instance, when I go to the supermarket to shop, I still end up getting only a partial list of what I planned to buy. Even a list is not helpful. Is this an early sign of Alzheimer? Hope not.I know of people who continue to have good memory. I wished I have their strong sense of recall and memory.

for me it's selected memory. I'm able to remember the things that I'm interest or need. Like I'm able to play song on piano by memory because I like piano.

I have a few tricks up my sleeve when I want to remember things: 1. I write them down. 2. I set an alarm or alert on my cellphone 3. I say the task out loud. Example "I just locked the front door", "I put my keys in my purse pocket"
