Making money with youtube but how the process ?

Yesterday i got some spam mail promote about money making using Youtube. How we can can make money using youtube? After i spend time to read all the mail, so sad in the end the mail said we need to buy this book and free this and that other book also buy now we get special offer price. I was wondering how actually we can generate some income from youtube? I see people use youtube clips to promote things then people buy product, the real money come from the product that sell. If anyone got any idea on how we can together get some income from youtube, lets share here, thanks.

hmm, from what i understood when i recently made an account on youtube, you need to be from US i think to be able to make money. they don't have it for other countries for now if i'm not wrong but can't be too sure. of course if you're from there, then ways to make money is i think from the number of views your videos get or something. there might be other ways too although i've forgotten since it was quite long ago that i read the faqs. hope you've gotten some help from other mylotters. good luck.
