Fourteen centuries ago, God sent down the Quran to mankind as a book of guidance. He called upon people to be guided to the truth by adhering to this book. From the day of its revelation to the day of judgment, this last divine book will remain the sole guide for humanity. The matchless style of the Quran and the superior wisdom in it are definite evidence that it is the word of God. In addition, the Quran has many miraculous attributes proving that it is a revelation from God. One of these attributes is the fact that a number of scientific truths that we have only been able to uncover by the technology of the 20th century were stated in the Quran 1,400 years ago. Of course the Quran is not a book of science. However, many scientific facts that are expressed in an extremely concise and profound manner in its verses have only been discovered with the technology of the 20th century. These facts could not have been known at the time of the Quran's revelation, and this is still more proof that the Quran is the word of God. http://www.missionislam.com/science/book.htm the link contains Scientific Facts explained in details 1400 years ago, How did Muhammad know All of these things while Muhammad was unlettered ?

The miracles in Quran have been taken from ancient greek science . For your information, the greeks had more knowledge of science than what Muhammad wrote. Muhammad might have been unlettered, but he could have got knowledge from friends.. The statement that Quran is from God because of scientific miracles does not impress me a bit.

You didn't discuss anything, You come with nothing but a claim, and you fail to provide a serious basis for your criticism, I think you have read this somewhere else and believed it so easily because it suits your atheism, and honestly I don't think you have been to the site, because the page also refers to a prophecy of Muhammad, and not only the scientific remarks, let me know if the Greek used to make prophecies for Muhammad too ?

It is not my fault if you have not read anything on greek science. The scientific facts in Koran were already known to those people. In twentieth c, scientists have only discovered more and in detail, the scientific facts that were already known to the ancient world. For eg, Big bang is there in ancient greek books. Big Bang theory is also mentioned in Upanishad, one of the ancient hindu scriptures.

I have heard many times that the Holy Quran is a beautiful masterpiece, and much of it's beauty is lost in translation. Since I'll never learn that language, I'll never personally know. The scientific truths are interesting. It is not the only treasured book of prophetic value though.
