Would you be happy to be highly ranked on a leaderboard?

You wanted to be kicked out of 'that' interest? Now would that be 'this' one?

Hi akuler, so it does make you happy to be highly ranked in football but not soccer, even going so far as to protect your ranking there. What I can't understand is your reluctance to be highly ranked in the beloved interest of Panaithinaikos as you did explain they do play football and not soccer and even knew what colour they wear and corrected myself on this and I'm ranked higher than you.

Well, just to show you how little the world is, I might even develop an interest for Panathinaikos, as the Greens have been placed in the Europa League Group F, alongside a Romanian team - Dinamo Bucharest. I am no Dinamo fan (in fact, they are the greatest rivals of my favourite team, Steaua Bucharest), but I do hope they will manage to qualify from this group. So I might even start some discussions under this topic

So who will you support in a match together , the Dinamino or Panaithinaikos? You can put as many discussions up as you like and poor akuler will be sent along to respond.. Actually I'm rather confused now as he told me the greens weren't up to anything in Europe at the moment, only the reds, Olympiakos.

Hello again stvasile, you've cetainly achieved some high rankings and enjoy holding them by the sound of it. Actually I never saw a geography interest, I must add it to mine. Well here's another one for you my friend, by contributing to this discussion in such a positive manner you will now be high on the leader board of the great interest of Panaithinaikos by tomorrow, but not alas the lead I'm afraid. I do however hope that you manage to knock akuler from his position as he does not wan t it, but for now appears to have accepted the role of spokesperson for any issues pertaining to anything other than the wearing of green. Hi James, would that interest possibly have anything to do with pandas? or spanking? Interestingly the Greek word for panda is panda, but the word for spanking also means wood, which can get a bit confusing if one is offered the Greek word for it, hopefully they plan to turn up with a pile of wood. Hi dpk, being amongst the top one hunderd of the interest Mylot is an achievement certainly but by tomorrow you will be a much higher ranked person in the interest of Panaithinaikos due to your positive contribution here on the subject of leaderboard happiness. You only have to work hard to maintain your ranking by being permanently interested in this great interest

My dear Capsi, what could be simpler, does it make you happy to be higly ranked in an interest matter on Mylot, the interest could be anything, crocheting, making cups of tea, cleaning windows, spanking pandas, whatever you have an interest in. So will it make you happy to see that you are about to be a highly ranked member in the interest of Panaithinaikos or would you not be happy, or would you be happier to be highly ranked elsewhere?

Hi Capsi, can you actually believe it is too hot for the beach here at the moment, but hope you had a great time. Well you will be pleased to know that you now hold the rank of 12th place in the superb and fascinating interest of Panaithinaikos, okay as of this moment that makes you 12 out of 13 but when it next updates you will be ahead on the board of many more, so a brilliant achievement. I remain at number 1 which is a delightful postion to be in. Like you I believe that some subjects are not for a public formum but I could argue that your hot tub was veering on the edge (joke), of course it wasn't.

Actually Zed you can't award me the best response for this as it's my discussionand I am also number one on this great leaderboard on which you now also feature. You know these leaderboard rankings are all a bit of ...Okay we both rank highly on this one as it is new with not thousands of followers YET. But my curiosity was piqued when I noticed I was no 7 on the life leaderboard out of 35,000 people, so I went to investigate and found I was number 7 in rank 17 which is the bottom rank and I've no idea how many per rank before one gets to rank one. The only one which is coherently clear to me is this interest has only 1 rank so far and you are highly rated in it and I am the leader. This prestigious position could be yours too if you make a new interest of your own and then sucker people into joining it as I did, no easy feat as it won't show up to many users.

Best response are great fun aren't they, when I sign on the first thing I do is open email and go straight in and see what the best response was for and go and say thank you, did you know by this simple act of appreciation it reopens the discussion for the poster who then might get zillions of new responses? I think you are mixing up leaderboard with perhaps top discussions. The leaderboards in your profile show how highly you are ranked in an interest. Oh don't give that a thought Downwindz, none of us here have no knowledge at all about this subject except akuler and Stsville. Akuler is the official spokesperson here for any any queries about the actual sport of football but the most important thing to remember about them is they are not the National team of Greece and they wear gree. And you're stuck in it

Hi Thea, seeing my doctor later, decided I'm going to ask for anti's. Also went to a meeting today in view of getting involved in group sessions for life skills, it's like a 'drop in' centre for people with depression, mental illnesses etc. So that cheered me up ;0)

Hi Wolfie, thanks for stopping by, you are quite right that these leaderboards aren't particularly of interest unless one is inclined to be interested in them, certainly it is more important to meet people here and after a while be able to consider them friends. Friends here can provide both advice and a bit of cheering fun and there are particular people that one might even consider would be a fun to share a coffee with in the real world. Receiving a best response has absolutely no bearing at all on your position on a leaderboard so don't worry about that.

Do I need best responses in order to reach high rank ? Then may be it will take ages to reach there, as I hardly get any best responses! Till now, I have received only 2 best responses!

As you have never checked the leaderboard may I suggest you wait until tomorrow when you can then report back your new position in the interest of Panaiothinaikos of which you may expect to receive a prime rating due to your postive contribution here. Hi Xzcess, perish the day when some people resort to politically correct best responses, give them how you want. I saw an example earlier of a BR being given in box one of a 3 page discussion which was still in flow, and box 1 agreed 100% with the topic owner, it's the first time I've ever left a disc because a best response had been given but it annoyed me, once the BR had been given the opener didn't bother responding to anyone else. As for the rankings you are now in the top 20 of this great interest of Panaithinaikos which is indeed a great honour especially for a mylot new member. Your ranking will be seen on your profile page or in any discussion you join under this great and esteemed interest.

Quite agree, my little tip there is whenever you receive a F/R then check their started discussions and check that they do bother to reply, and check beyond the first page too as some have a habit of giving up after the first page of resonses as they run out of things to say, personally I never seem to have that problem.
