Teachings in the Bible

I have started reading the Bible since 2007 and I gain a lot from it. Most especially those teachings that touches my life. One of the great verse that I still have in my mind is Isaiah 41:10 "Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." With this I feel no worries, no doubts and no longer carrying heavy loads in life. In life, why do we have to suffer much on our own and try to solve those problems on our own when God is always there willing to help us. All we have to do is seek Him and pray to Him. How about you? What are the teachings from the Bible that you applied in your life?

I think the Bible is a wonderful story...YES story...that has good messages. The best is "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." These are not the words or god, but suggestions on how to live a great life.

I have even heard someone tell me that the word Bible is an acronymn meaning Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth. If you really read the Bible, you'll probably discover that it's really the original version of The Secret. All of the laws of attraction are in the Bible. As for do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Sometimes we have to remember that what we want may not always be what someone else wants so we might also have to do unto others as they would have us do unto them. xoxo Cyne

The Bible verse that really have given me strength in trouble times is Hebrew 13:5 Stay away from the love of money be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never fail you nor forsake you. (The world around us is in a negative flow. It's like a rushing river, and its always pulling at us trying to get us to flow with it. Living by faith and speaking words of faith is like trying to paddle upsteam.) These words I got from another source. They come from notes that I have.

This verse is great with so many people in the world lacking gratitude and always wanting more. How can they expect God to trust them with more if they can't even appreciate what they have? Just for the record, I too struggle with gratitude and have to make a conscious effort to cheque myself when I find I'm complaining. xoxo Cyne

interesting topic... As a believer myself, I think to lean on God totally and have no worries at all is a perfect choice... p/o Psalm 49:20 " A man who has riches without understanding..." reminds me that some people are ruined by the very riches they have cherished ... Interesting isn't it?

i have been a bible reader since i was in high school, and have finished it from geensis to revelations many times already. there are a lot of teachings there that have helped and there are many that i am using as my guide in my daily life. some of those are what you sow you will reap, nothing is impossible to those that believe, there is a purpose in everything, and a lot more. i just short cut them so this wont be long.

Hello angelroseanne, You have quoted my Favorite bible verse. It has helped me throughout my Life. In Fact it is highlighted in my Bible and in all my children's bibles. They also refer to it often. Our heavenly Father is ALWAYS there, ready to take our Hand and help us no matter what the situation is. Within our Family we have prayed these verses whenever there was a urgent need for help. Many Miracles have came to us as a result of the Faith applied to these Verses. Wishing you a blessed Day.
