My little is already good at crawlling when he is five months old . I let him to crawl on the floor whenever he is waken . He loves it much than sitting . When did your kids learn to crawl ? Do you still remember ? It's said that kids should learn to crawl before they can walk and those kids who can crawl are more smart . What do you think ?

My 10 month old is a crawling machine. He will be walking very soon. He started crawling at around 9 months and life just hasn't been the same since. I am not looking forward to the walking days.

My oldest daughter never crawled or anything until the day of her 1st birthday. My middle daugher crawled at 9 months. My younest who is almost 2 months is already trying to crawl. I'm thinking with my youngest she will be the one to crawl at 5-6 months of age. I dont know about kids crawling before walking being more smart then a child who just walks. My oldest daughter only crawled for 3 months and was off running and she is only 15 months older then her sister. When my oldest was her age she was writing her name and knew every letter of the alphabet. My middle daughter needs alot more help then what her older sister needed. I remember everything from when they were babies. It seems just like yesterday and here they are already all in school.

My eldest learnt to walk before she could crawl! AT 10 months she learnt to shuffle about on her bottom this suited her and she could get about REALLY fast lol, at 16 months she learnt to stand up against furniture and finally at 19 months she took her first steps. At 22 months she finally learnt to not only crawl but roll over aswell she kind of did things backward but her doctor said because she could get about she didnt feel the need to crawl. Her little sister was rolling everywhere at 5 months crawling at 7 and standing along furniture at 9 months took her first steps at 11 months walking confidently alone by 12 months every child is so different. I would not agreee that kids who are able to crawl are more smart seeing as a rule most kids do crawl my eldest is a very clever little girl despite not learning to crawl until almost two.

My oldest learned to crawl when she was about seven months old and really only crawled for a short time. She was walking before she was 10 months old. My son started crawling when he was five months old, but he crawled for a longer time than my daughter did and really only started walking when he was a year old. I have always heard that a child should learn to crawl before they could walk and both of my children and my two nieces followed that. But, however, I've never heard that children that can crawl are more smart than the children that never crawl. If that is the case then it makes a lot of things fall into place concerning my two children.
