I have friends, but they always underestimate me and didn't believe my skill. I'm a humouris person and usually tell a joke when i met my friend. But later, they assume that i only can make a joke but not capable to work in a team. Many times they make a project without tell me before and never ask me to join. It is hurt, i want they know that i have skill. I want to show them, i can do the task, job or a project. What should i do? Should i respect them? How to show that i able to handle a project?

respect goes both ways, if someone who you consider a friend does not respect you he or she is not a friend

It happens in life. Sharing jokes is not a guarantee to show that you have skills. What have you done on your own to show that you have skill? The first thing to be honest with yourself is to show the skills on your own rather than banking hopes on other people to ask you. When you prove that you have skill, they will invite you. Beat their perception by showing the world what skills are hidden inside you. Till then, cheers

A joker can be good at academics. Show to them that you can score distinctions in your theory papers. Then they ask you to join their group. In the meantime, look for other group for projects. Cheer up.

hi! sometimes it really happens. friends look good together but when it comes to academics or any teamwork, they dont have good chemistry. u better find other group that u can work with and prove ur worth. as to whether u should respect them, i really dont know if they're really downing u or they just dont feel like working with u. it's better to keep quiet and show ur point through actions. sign of a true leader.
