Torrent sites are going to shutdown!!

Guys i heard that torrent sites are goiong to shutdown soon, is that true, now demonoid.com is not working here now, some other good sites like mininova.org is also going to shutdown , i cannot think of that torrents without internet, so sad if it happen i will cut my broadband if torrent sites are dowon.... Please dnt let it happen...

Actually its not so easy to shutdown all torrent sites. Because there is a huge number of torrent sites all over the internet - countless. Everyday, there will be new torrent site comes up. So how are they gonna shut it down? It is never ending job for them to do so.

LeaseWeb has sent emails to a number of torrent site admins in recent days giving them until Saturday to move their data to different hosting provider,according to P2P news site Torrentfreak.

No way! Can't be! I am living because of downloaded movies lol. Why are they shutting it down? How can i watch movies for free? I can't afford to buy original one's with high price. I hope this won't happen. Where did you hear it anyway? They are going to shut down the most trusted site for downloading movies. Sigh! So sad...

I checked it and found out that it was posted Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 9:00 PM PT. It was written 2 years ago and until now we have the torrent sites still running. There was a comment here telling we have countless of torrent sites and that it's going to be impossible to shut it down which i agree. Torrent sites had been sued by most authorities and record label companies because of copyright infringement, yet they are still here. I guess it will always be running, might be gone for a while but will surely back on track.

This is such sad news. I download audio books from Torrent all the time. I can't believe that the industry is so greedy that they want to shut down free access to data. I'm a writer so I can say if people enjoy my stuff let them enjoy it. I'm not going to go suing anyone. Of course, my decidedly leftist leaning may be due to the fact that for my own publications I'm in charge and don't have a big corporation. But I think if I ever got one, and they tried to pull this crap on one of my fans I'd switch publishers immediately.

Hi, It can not be possible that those sites are going to shutdown. I have checked just now and mininova is working and demonoid is also working and have checked few more sites all of them are working by now.
May be you had some problem with the server or something like that. Do not worry that is not going to happen.

mininova is working and demonoid.com is not working for me read the news regarding the torrent shutdown,
BitTorrent Sites Shut Down, Admins Arrested...The operators of Pirate Bay are standing trial in Stockholm next week..... please read the news man...
