Special/Secret Indulgences

Everyone in life has some sort of special and/or secret indulgence. Personally, mine is Starbucks coffee. While it is admittingly not the most economical choice, it really does give me a boost when I'm feeling low. There's something about sipping a $4 latte and a $2 crumb cake that makes me feel rich and decadent, as though I have plenty of money and no worries. In reality, this isn't true, but at least for 20 minutes or so, I can have a nice escape. Now, don't get me wrong, I am not addicted, especially given my current tight finances. However, I do set aside $20 every two weeks from my paycheck, so that once a week, I can give myself a "pick-me-up" courtesy of Starbucks. How do the rest of you treat yourself? What is your special or secret indulgence?

Hi Care4Pets,
When I was at university I used to treat myself by going to an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet, until I saw what the effect on my waistline was lol! Since then take outs have been the most common way of rewarding myself probably because they appear to have been blacklisted by the government and so they have that dark side level seduction to them. They also taste great and eliminate the need to do washing up so they are perfect lol! I only have about one every two weeks or so though because of finances, and the fact dark side seductiveness can only go so far lol!
All the best,
Dranz

I like to treat myself to a pedicure now and then. I can't afford to do it all of the time, but I usually aim for once a month. Sometimes, I will get a manicure. (No, I'm not the guy in my pic. LOL)
