What i did is open a separate bank account that i only use for paypal, that way it is not associated with our house hold money. and i have never had a problem with it.
just go to the bank and request a new card so you can have a cvv number if that is what you need to do.

Dee, there should be a cvv number on the back of your debit card too. If not, then you can enter your bank account and bank routing number on Paypal. They can transfer the money directly to your account in this way too. You can always contact your bank or Paypal via phone too and they should be able to assist you with any problems. Worst case scenario, Paypal can send funds via check, but it will cost you a $1.50 processing fee. Good luck! :)
