Promises: Made to be broken or made to be fulfilled no matter what?

Someone has promised to do something for you.
They offer to make you a drawing, to write you a story, they schedule an important task with you, they say they'll focus their attention on you from there on, enter another dozen of other possibilities.
But these promises are all and always broken...
Do you believe it is fair? That it's illogical to be angry with such people just because they were offering something out of their "heart" but then decided they had no more interest, mood, time, patience, etcetera to accomplish what they promised.

People are like that. People will always be like that.
Deal with it.
it's just that unless it's someone you hold by a leash, there's no way you can control someone. they'll always do what they want and reorganize their "priorities" as they want. they find themselves happy for promisign you sometihng, knowing that you'll be left happy. but then they forget that for you to be really happy they have to keep up with their part of the bargain. doesn't really happen too often now does it?

Hey,
I think that promises are made to be fulfilled no matter what happens. It isn't good to promise something to someone, and then a few days or weeks later or whatever, you just simply tell someone else the promise. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Oh this is such a common thing, people have good intentions but they hardly ever follow through, I think they seem to think the gesture is good enough, well it isn't really, I try my hardest to keep every promise I make or I don't make them if I feel I can't, I think people should fulfil their promises, it can be very heartbreaking to be let down.
