Today I made scrambled eggs for breakfast. My daughter asked for some shredded cheese to put on them. No problem, she ate them right up. Tonight for dinner I made mac n cheese a kid stand by favorite. Since I find the powder a bit dry I added a bit more milk and some extra cheese. It got me to thinking, how often do you use cheese?

I love cheese and since I do not eat meat it is actually my main source of protein besides beans. I like to add cheese to as much as I can. I often make sandwiches with cheese, add shredded cheese to pasta (my favorite way to make Mac and cheese), quesadillas, and bean and cheese burritos. I also like to put cheese on the crescent rolls when I make them.

I don't eat meat, either, I will add cheese to whatever I feel calls for it. I guess I'm a "cheese-aholic". LOL. I won't even eat a salad unless there's cheese on it.

I'm a vegetarian an I eat a lot of dairy, specifically cheese. It's how I get a good bit of my protein. And just because it's really yummy.

You'll die when I tell you how much cheese I use..I am a cook and this past week alone I cooked with, Gruyere, Brie, a mexican blend, pepperjack, romano, parm, fresh mozzarella, Ricotta, and in deserts I used cream cheese and mascapone..so yes I use a lot of cheese,,When I was in cooking school hardly a day ever went by that we didn't use and learn about cheeses..I could not cook without them..

Every day! I'm on Atkin's, so I don't get chips, or popcorn, I'm selective on what fruit I can eat. 2-3 oz of cheese goes a long ways when you have the munchies. I used to eat much more snacks, but with a little cheese, I feel more satisfied, and it tastes great, too!

When I cook mac and cheese I always add extra cheese. I have added them to my mashed potatoes and even my chili and pasta dishes. Everyone loves cheese in our house and so it seems to go in a little bit of everything everyday we use cheese.

well i'm not sure we use cheese EVERYday but we do use a lot of cheese, sometimes we just have apple slices and cheese sticks or cubes for snacks!
to give you an idea.. i buy one of those LONG bricks of cheese a week, and i always run out. hah.
I love having/making a version of the grilled cheese without the grilled part, and if you have left over bacon its even better.. I just grate, or slice for thicker cheesiness, the cheese and put it on bread and shove it in the toaster oven (or regular oven if i'm making a lot) and toast it up and let the cheese melt. and bacon on top of the cheese is really good too. or healthier choice, tomatoes on top. mm.

I add cheese to my meals every now and then. It all depends on what I am eating as to if I add it or not. My husband likes to add cheese to mast everything though. I only eat cheese occasionally.

O will put cheese on everything I eat - almost anyway!!!! I make for my 9 yo GD what she calls (since she was 3) "scrammy eggs and ham and cheese". I make scrambled eggs, and slice up pieces of ham and shredded cheese... and I whip up the eggs, and she gets to put in 2 handfulls of ham and 2 of cheese and then she gets to whip it up!!! She loves them and will only eat them for me!!! Kind of a tradition for the 2 of us.

I think Cheese is one of those easy things to add to a meal. It goes well with many things, especially veggies to my way of thinking at least. It ry tno to go reaching for the cheese too much, however, as it isn't the best for the diet.

I use cheese whenever and wherever I can, because I like it and believe it is "good food". It is wonderful on salads, e.g. grated cheddar, jack, etc. crumbled blue, roquefort, feta, gorgonzola. It is good in salad dressings, e.g. blue, roquefort, gorgonzola., All of the aforementioned, plus many others can go in eggs and omelets of any kind, and, of course in and on pasta, like parmesan and mozzarella. Parmesan cheese is part of Caesar dressing. Cheese in soups is comforting and yummy, e.g. broccoli cheese, potato cheese, or just plain cheese soup using a mixture of cheeses. Then there is cheese souffle, a great way to use leftover grated cheese and very delicate. Cheeseburgers! Cheese in meatloaf, meat stuffings, on cheesesteaks, make meats taste better.
Cottage cheese can become sweet or savory, served with fruits or vegetables. Ricotta and cream cheese make wonderful cakes. Cream cheese makes salmon taste better.
Cream cheese and jelly make a good sandwich. And don't forget the ultimately comforting grilled cheese sandwich. A Greek flamed cheese appetizer is called saganaki, I believe and cheese is also in spanakoptida.
Don't forget the special cheese and fruit platter as a dessert or appetizer. Cheese is good all by itself.
I have a dairy industry poster which says - what every Hollywood agent wants a piece of: It's the cheese. Cheesy humor?

I add cheese a lot. It's good for bone. Also for my child, i wanted her to grow taller than me. If buy a bread, i choose cheese bread or chocolate cheese bread, as long as there's cheese inside.

Ya know, I never really thought about how often I add cheese to a meal, but it is rather often. I enjoy using cheese to "spicen" meals up. Like tonight we had pasta and meatballs and I added parm cheese. For lunch I had a ham sandwich and added swiss cheese for flavor. I really do love cheese!
