I guess I owe some of you here a great big apology! I sincerely never thought Sarah Palin could have been absolutely correct about the "death panels" the Obama Administration had planned to include in his health care reform. It just made no sense to me and I just couldn't imagine that the Democrats would risk losing so many of one of their largest demographic groups like this.
Turns out, I was believing what I wanted to believe; now I admit I was in complete denial. I'm afraid if it hadn't been for such a famous person being named as a member of the coming death panel we'd have never learned the truth, or at least not this soon! Read the whole story here and weep.

I don't even have 20 years to live! I guess I'd better get busy on my bucket list...

OMG, I'm selling the house and car, my wife and I are going underground, everyone pray they won't find us!!!
I had a friend who was an insurance agent and he said "they should give everyone their social security money when they reach the age of 21. They would be allowed to live until the money ran out, then the government would "pull the plug" on them.
I'm sure glad his theory didn't come to pass, but it looks like Paula and her gang are cranking up to go after a bunch of us.... LOL.
I guess the repubs will be making another commercial to scare everyone just to keep their constituents on track....
Jump repubs... jump!!!

Both my parents had living wills...both were over ridden. There HAS been legislation taking the right to decide treatment or lack of treatment in terminal or vegatative state patient's careplans away from the designated power of attorney/healthcare proxy and giving it solely to the primary physician when the doctor feels the family/healthcare proxy has lost the ability to be objective.
You all go one with your bad azzz selves....I work in it, I see it happening already. Give the government an inch and they WILL take a mile. Obama even said we'd have to get USED TO limited resources....you think they'd REALLY COME OUT AND SAY 'WE WANT TO KILL YOU WHEN YOU TURN 65?'
Take a look at the healthcare in HOlland...a civilized country with socialized healthcare.

Looking about the site, I'm happy to see they don't hold back the punches on either side. Equal opportunity lampooning is the best!
