OH Jill, You certainly opened up a container there LOL Yes I must admit it also...I LOVE Boxes..small and medium sized. I keep Gift Bags as well, ALL Kinds of gift bags ..sniff.. Oh and then there are the decorative COOKIE CANS whaaaa... Small med and large I keep them ALL. I can't help it..they always come in handy,you know..to store STUFF? And the boxes ..well there are gifts that need a box and then there is eBay , I have just the right size box I need :) WOW ..It's an A.D.D.I.C.T.I.O.N I just realized . But you know what it sure shows how organized we can be right? At least we have a container,box,can or Bag for "that" LOL Have a great day :-)

HaHa, I love your discussion title, made me laugh! I'm addicted to old vintage pretty saucers or dishes (not whole sets, just a piece here or there). I use them under my plants, my kitty eats out of one that has Roses on it, I put floating candles in them, and sometimes I just display them. We are so silly sometimes, aren't we?, lol! I usually find them at the flea markets, garage sales, or thrift stores. Oh, the simple pleasures of life.

Lol you are the 3rd Person that I know now who has this addiction lol I have an Addiction to Candles if I see a lovely scented Candle I will buy it

Hi , my name is Sarah and I am addicted to notepads. I love them, small, large it doen't matter. The stationery section of Staples , Office Depot, Target , or even the Dollar store is my favorite.Until recently I would just buy hem and hope I have a use for them. But now I do have a use for most.

Food? I've stopped collecting things. It was just too hard last time that we moved. I have way too many books though!

LOL, I believe u are addicted to them. I have quite a few but don't think i'm addicted. Since i quit collecting antiques don't guess i'm addicted to anything. U get a house full u have to quit, lol.

I do also love containers. I have about 25 in a spare bedroom will of craft patterns. They are all labeled for quick access to what I want or need. The best ones I found were from Sam's Club. Where I use to work we bought cookies in the plastic containers that were air tight. The craft patterns stay clean and dust free even if the outside is dusty. I also keep all my yarn in big plastic containers without lids. They are great for storing yarn for easy use. We have now admitted our addictions and feel better..lol

I am this way with picture frames. Well maybe not so much now as I used to be. I used to have to buy a picture frame if there was a sale going on. Especially at Kohl's department store. They have the greatest picture frame selection. It is really unique. I do like containers as well. Even in my drawers where I keep my utensils, or my junk drawer. I like everything to have it's own little separate spot. You know the old saying, Everything in it's place, and a place for everything.

Hi jillhill I am Patsie and I am addicted to baskets and beanie babies.I have a veritable zoo of the critters lined up atop the 'head of my bed. there's a walrus, a dophin,a dodo bird, a dog, a moose,a dragon and they are allsmall and cute. I have many more butbetween them and my baskets i have run out of room. i also love'containers,specialy ones that are square and stack and look'good at the same time.I am in need of storage space in this medium sized bedroom.

Oh my yes. Containers, yarn, and books and then there are the sales of tools. Yes I have to have tools even if I will never use it. Somebody mite need it in my house. So yes I can't go in to a tool store. You have a great day your friend onlydia

Hi ya jillhill I too have lots of containers of different discription though no where near as many as you have, at least I don't think so. Recently though I have been drawn towards money boxes. I have seen some really nice ones and have felt compelled to buy them, the lates being a lovely brightly coloured mushroom that was on sale and going for £1, less than a dollar!! I try not to buy them because I don't have the money to put in it hahaha

I love this!!! It made me laugh!! You would love my house. I have tons of different types of containers all around! As for me, I have a love for purses. lol I don't necessarily consider myself a collector, but if I had to say I did collect anything it would definitely be books and purses! lol

I don't collect containers intentionally, but when I get one, I will keep them too, in case one day I may need it. And since I sell stuff online recently, I begin to value them. In fact, the case is, when we need someting, we can hardly get one, but when we don't need them, they can always be seen everywhere.

HI Jill, Well I'm not quite addicted to containers although I have some Tupperware "sleeping" in the cupboard, I'm more into collecting paperbags and mugs. When I come back from shopping, I'll keep those nice paperbags especially those from apparel boutiques and gift shops. Some of it are pretty enough and I even use it as a gift bag to my friends on their birthday. So I can save a bit to buy a wrapping paper! And I have a little corner at my living room to place all my colorful mugs. One day a friend of mine came to my house and she mistakenly thought I am selling those mugs so I put a sign "Display only, not for sale" that day onwards. Hope you won't say I'm crazy...

I think everyone should have an interest. Collecting containers, stamps, scrapbooking, taking photos, geocaching. It all makes one different from the others around us. Me, I just obsess over my children and play games with them. I don't really have any itch to be a collector. Perhaps later in life when they have grown up and moved out.
