When do babies usually have a full set of teeth in their mouth?

By what age is normal..... My youngest son had to go to the dentist for a checkup at 10 months old, because he had a full mouth of teeth. I had to make them give me an appointment to get his teeth checked and cleaned, because they didn't believe that he had all his teeth. Wonder if that means he'll lose his teeth quicker as he ages?....

I am shocked that the dentist didn't want to see him. Our dentist started seeing our kids when they were 6 mos (teeth or no teeth). Insurance paid for it and I wanted to start the kids out right with not being afraid of the dentist. The dentist said it was a good idea to start them early (for that reason) and they can also tell a lot by their gums, etc.

there aren't any dentists around here that will take them before 6 years. I'm searching for one cuz I do not want my daughter to have bad teeth. My son started at 2 years and it's cost a fortune cuz his teeth or so bad!

See my 1st son, didn't get his 1st tooth until his first birthday to be exact. Then boom my youngest son.....is set at 10 months old. Guess...each child is definitely different.

My kids were both late teethers. Benjamin got his first tooth at 12 months, Makenna at 11. Makenna is 19 months old and still doesn't have her eye teeth or stomach teeth. They say the age in months that the tooth comes in is the age in years that it falls out. I don't know if I believe them or not.
