Will you feel embarrassed if you recognized the wrong people on the street?

In fact I recognize someone wrong easily because I am nearsighted. And I don't wear the glasses at usual. I only wear the glasses when it is necessary. So sometimes I recognize someone by a mistake and it is so embarrassing. I said sorry and then left immediately:) I love China

Hi Vivian, I always feel terrible if I mistake someone for someone else on the street. These days I tend to watch them really closely for a while before confirming they are who I am after and reacting accordingly. Normally though I don't tend to try and chat to someone on the street, I am far more likely to wave at the wrong people instead. When I see that they aren't who I should be waving at I also go bright red and pretend like I was waving at someone behind the person I was actually waving at so they don't notice my mistake and think I am some crazy stalker lol Dranz

OMG yes i feel so embarrased now i wait to make sure its the right person lol.

same here.but not everytime it makes me embarrassed.once i recongnized a girl on the street,but she was so kind hearted,we talked to each other,now sbe is my best friend.

Yes I will feel embarassed when I encounter such an experience in my life and yeah I have been in this situation before where I even smiled to that person and then I went forward to talk to her and then only I understand that she was not my friend. I kept saying sorry too.

I will definitely be most embarrass. That's why I don't call their name just like that. It's not a problem if he/she is some I really know like my family and close friends. For someone that I barely know (or I think I know) I'll just smile and slow down my pace. If he/she doesn't speak first, I assume I meet a wrong person and walk like nothing happen

It is feel more embarraseed if you don't remember that people when he /she cry you . Of course ,when you think of his or her name after getting some clues or hints ,you will be excited . Every day ,we always meet lots of people and get to know new friends .Usually ,man can remember some especial charactors of a man ,then remember this person as well .Of course ,we also would forget some " Average man"....

yes i would really feel embarrassed doing so, well i have done this before :( i thought it was one of my friend but when i said hey bro how r u, so he was like who r u? lol that was embarrassing :( i felt too bad. but it was not my fault he was looking exactly like my friend
