Is FaceBook Safe?

I think it all depends on your privacy settings. If you have your profile viewable to everyone then you are more likely to get hacked , however if you limit the amount of information people who are not yur friends see then you are less likely to be hacked. I have mine set so that only people who are currently my friends can find my page. My name won't come up if you search me unless we're already friends.

I am on facebook too and sometimes I wonder like you are wondering if facebook is worth enough to put all our informations in it! Well once I got messages from someone who is not my friend, and he told me all my info which is visible to only those who are my friends so then I think he was maybe a hacker. These sites are not very trustworthy though. I have limited information there for me.

you know its funny you should mention is facebook safe. A friend email my mother about not to open something that siad it was a video in her message box. He thougth is was of a Bar B Q that they had all attended that he missed and opend the message only to get a virus on his computer. he siad her computer is ruined. My mother told me to be careful when on facebook. so to hear somone else ask is face book safe... well that is somthing to think about.
