Humility is a rare comodity nowadays...

Is it difficult to be humble when one is on top? I've seen humble and down-to-earth people who lost humility as they reached the peak of success. It seems like they lost their identity and adopted one that can live up with those successful people like them. They are always right. They always the best in their craft. It's as if they can't make mistake. Worst, forgeting their humble beginnings. At one point in our life, we also become excessively proud of ourself. Did it come to you as well?

I have met people like this too, hopefully I am not like them, My boss is an ex minister but even now he is the chairman of a group with more than 6 companies, he was once very poor and today he has everything but no humility,he lost it. He yells at people for nothing, abuses them, make his driver as a slave, does not pay on time so I believe he is one among the people who lost their humbleness.

That's sad to hear. You would expect them to be the kindest to those who was once like them right. But the boss really changed. I mean, he just forgot everything. Maybe it was a painful past. Considering your story. I mean, how he treated his driver and all that.

We need to be humble at all times no matter how successful we are or how richer we are. We should practice humility at all times and respect others. Sometimes famous and rich people are not humble they are bragging about their profession and there wealth to other people. They are very proud of themselves and treat others as inferior to them. They are not good example to everybody.
