Are you the servant of GOD or God is your servant?

Hey jskarthik1 I think you right we are all servant of god. God is the master of the world. We human beings are always begging before god for our self interest, some people ask for money, some may ask for peace, and many other things, but have anybody thought what god wants from us. I think god wants only peace, harmony ,cordial relation with all irrespective of their caste, creed etc. but sorry to inform that god has given so many things to this earth but instead of these we have given nothing to him/her. pkc3000

Indeed an excellent thought, I would take this opportunity to answer this one. The present generation, where people are selfish, self-centered, greedy would pray only so that their "demands" get fulfilled. And yeah, why should they care about anything when most of the time, their demands are fulfilled and God listens to their prayers. Seldom do they even THINK of offering something to God that doesn't involve any selfish motive, distant away be the offering! There was a time, and even now there are a few Saints who don't care about the luxuries in life or money or happiness, and are only concerned with the selfless devotion to Almighty, so as to please him and eradicate all the evil on earth. But now, the time has changed and so have the priorities!

Hi, jskarthik1, you gave a good topic! For me, a lot of Christians around me, they started to worship God on bended knees when they were in trouble. And God helped them. So it's quite easy for them to consider that believing in God means better life the first step. - It's true - But the key problem is what the really good thing is. In fact, God is the Lord of whole world and universe. Hence, sometimes we pray to Him for something we think good for us, but actually it's not. - We don't know but He knows. I used to be the one who prayed to God only for the things I wanted or I thought good for me. Then I found it's completely wrong. - I cannot be the lord of God. In fact, God is my Lord. Now I'm still praying to God for things I want, but I also say, "God, please do it as your will, if you don't agree with, please stop it. If you think it's okay, please give it to me." - Such as the Jesus prayed in Gethsemane. - It's only my opinion and experience so far. I think we have the right to tell God our true thoughts, but I have NO right to command God to do things as our wills.

Hi Karthik,you are right. Most of the time person beg in front of god. People who beg from god is fail to understand. I am not blamming common people, i am not in a position to blame them because once i was same like them. But one incidence of my life taught me everything, Whichever god has decided for us is very much right for us. God is like our father who always help us by giving us sadness. I am very sorry i had lots of content to write but failed to find right word. If i dont use right word in sentence it could become meaningless. Happy mylotting!!

Let me first start off by saying I am a Gods servant. I agree with you people only pray to god for when they want something. They do believe god it there servant. However God is in control. God always take charge of any situation and show them who is boss. When things are going good is only when they remember god. It should be a daily routine to thank God for every day of your life.
