How do you think the world is going to end? Is the sun going to go out and we slowly die? Are the polar ice caps going to melt completely causing massive tsunamis? Are volcanoes going to just start exploding and earthquakes erupting? or is it going to be how it is predicted in so many religious texts? OR could the axis just completely switch and north is south and vice versa causing massive climate changes? or is it something completely different? Please tell me your ideas:)

something like that, starvation and war most likely...
I really hope to be wrong by the way, and there are surely many ways to avoid that outcome, lets just hope we are smart enough to change direction while we still can...
But among the many end of the world scenarios that is the most likely, but let's hope there will be no end of the world scenario at all!

Doom day cult believe end of the world is nearing, well i will let them believe all they want from their twisted text book and pea size brains. It is impossible to explain all these scientific facts to them expecting them to understand half of them if not all.

I think the end would be related to sun any how.May be the sun will die as said in science and a supernova will occur which will affect our earth seriously and bring it to an end.

i think that the world will come to an end with sun as one of the major reasons for it. may be the sun would have its ending and a supernova would occur which will end the world with a blast or if not supernova then the sun would shrink and the changes would affect the earth excessively.

The world will be destroyed either when the sun goes out or because of us humans will destroy it. I doubt it will be die on dec 21 2012 even though people might die doubt the earth will be gone. But like I said we will destroy the earth or when the sun goes out that will be the end. As for when the world will end I dont think anyone really knows we can guess all we want but likely it will be wrong.

I believe that:
"The Earth will end not with a bang, but a whimper."
If anybody can give me a citation for the above quote, I will be very thankful.

I always wondered as to how the world started(like before the supposed Big Bang), but never how it would end, because being a positive person I don't see the world ending. The world can suffer many variations throughout the ages, but I don't think it's possible for human life to end altogether. The only way I could see this is if all the ice melted and we'd be stuck in some kind of waterworld, then maybe that might be considered the end of the world.

Many unexpected events lately, causing me to ask whether the world will soon be over. But that was all before the warning, not a thing which in truth. We know at any time the world will end, but do not know when. In the religion explained that the signs of the world will end is hot air, barren land, crops withered, hard to find water, the women could not give birth again, and time of day or night is not as usual.

today we all know that there is a climate change. the uv rays from the sun is so hot. some country today are suffering from climate change because it's too hot and too cold.the population in this world is getting bigger and bigger and more technology are developed everyday that can cause global warming. many people don't care proper waste disposal. and garbage is one factor that can cause global warming.and they say if there is a global warming that is the sign of the end of the world. but no one can predict the end of the world but only god knows the end of the earth because he is the creator and the beginning of the earth.
