Anyone else seen this spin-off from The Flintstones? I recently rented the series from Netflix and really enjoyed watching it. Boy does Pebbles come up with a lot of crazy ideas that almost always lead to trouble and Bamm-Bamm reluctantly keeps going along. Sure there is some old stereotypes and sexism in it, but it still is enjoyable even though ideas have changed.

I do think I have vague memories of such a program. I must say, with Bam Bam's superhero strength, I would expect traditional stereotyping to be rather hard to avoid. It's not like we would expect Bam Bam to be super strong and grow up to be a fashion designer. :)

Actually more of the stereotyping has to do with woman's roles, but it is historically what would have been sort of the norm back when it first aired. Also, the whole Bamm-Bamm being super strong is not really a thing in the Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm show. I remember that being a big part of his character in the Flintstones, but with him as a teenager in the Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm show his strength does not seem to be that much more than normal.
