Women complain of man’s ego quite often.

Is it true that men are carrying that “I am superior” ego?
What about women? Do men complain of women’s ego?
In comparison who is better? Man? Or woman?

vijay, I agree that it is usually men who have bigger egos. I think it built in at birth, God sure has a sense of humor doesn't He? But I do not agree that they are better than women. Both genders have good and bad traits.
and God loves us equally. He gives us different roles to play in society and relationships and we can only do those to the best of our abilities. Although some countries do not treat the sexes equally or respect our different roles.

It is true that SOME men carry that ego and it is also true that SOME women carry it. Having a 'superiority complex' is not gender specific and neither is being 'better'. We probably all have a different set of qualities on which we base our judgement as to what constitutes a 'better' person so there will never be a definitive answer.

Yes, I agree with you that both carry ego. But in my opinion men seem to carry more than women.

Women and men do have their egos because they are all thinking individuals. When one person wants to get an upper hand over something the other person's defence mechanism is immedaitely at work and all these ego clashes come in.Whether men carry this chip on their shOulder depends on their circumstances. When some men have been a victim of their circumstances and have been dominated by their mothers or seen some submissive fathers they tend to become more defensive and carry this "I am superior' banner along with them.In our India where it has been and is still largely a patriacrchal civilization it is the expected thing that a man is the head of his household. If they see a potential threat to that position then they once again feel the need to assert their superiority. When women start saying that the man canot understand things and there are things that should be done in a particular way, the man protests and the woman complains. Here the woman wants it her way--this only proves that she also has her ego and she believes what she says is right and the man refuses to adhere to her wishes because of his 'ego'.She may quote umpteen reasons for this but essentially she also has her own ego.
There is no comparing the genders and concluding whether one is superior to another. Both woman and man have their individual strong points and as long as they are complementary then problems are less.

in recent times scenario is changing...as we see the similarities in all fields also there is similarity in the case of ego...we see that lot of women are working and they are not just the house-wives kind these days..so they have their own ego...but i think that is the main thing, spoiling the lives of many people...it should not be on any side..may be men or women...if its left aside....a home is heaven

I think woman. The best thing is that they have to suffer during pregnancy and they care for the society. So, they help up the society a lot.
