I wish I could copy and paste!!!

Hi Kay, Like you, I am relatively new to MyLot. I wish somedays that I had copy & paste already too, but don't lose hope. After typing for a few months, and reaching (500) then you and I will both be able to copy/paste. I'm at (96) right now, so not too far ahead of you. I'm looking forward to the smilies as well, which you get at (200)...YEA! :) Happy MyLotting!

Hi kaykaygee, You will get your cut and paste sooner. Don't worry about that. I think you already know the reason why this feature only available when you reach your 500th posts. This is a tips that might help you to reach faster. Try to involve in as many discussion as you can. Our total posts (beside the username) will only be added 2 in every discussion. So, even you make more then two post in one discussion, your total posts will only increase by 2. This is how its work; -If you started a discussion, you number will be increase when - your discussion receive to posts (2 responses or 1 response + 1 comment) and - When you make your first comment -Others discussion -Your first response and -Your first comment But you will earn from every posts that you make. This is only for the total posts. Good luck.

Just wait for your number gets to 500 so you can do it, just like we can do now. All you have to do is post, post and post... When I was new on here, I used to bring a pad and a pen in my wallet. Whenever something comes into my mind, I jot it down. So when I get back to my desk, I just type and post, because I have no system at home and not even a phone.

Hello, I wish i can copy and paste too, I am relatively new to this site myself. I have made some notes even when i was in college that talks about just anything, from life, love, friends and a lot more. Some of the notes i wrote down fit some discussions here. Of course it is better to copy and paste right? So I'll do more postings and commenting so we can have the smileys and copy paste privilege lol.

Hi kaykaygee, Even I would like to have copy-paste functionality right from start but that would cause this site to get more spam then quality with every newbie who isn't yet got familiar with the site guidelines and rules, would start copying posts from other sites to boost up their post count and earnings. So it's better to be limited at first but by the time we reach 500 posts we would enjoy the fruits of the hard work we are putting into by posting a lot onto mylot. Happy posting mate.

Well, I have to admit that is a very useful tool and it will eventually be coming your way once you have reached enough posts. It's a nice idea to share your thoughts and feelings in terms of your own life. I love keeping journals myself and I have an online blog as well as a journal. It's nice when other people make comments on your journals. It also improves your writing creativity. From my journals I joined thw website Helium and I have been writing articles on that site. Hey! I understand your situation and if I wanted to do something like that and I had a low count, I would also kind of be a bit upset. Infact for me angry, as I always get angry when things don't go my way. It's my way or the high way! 500 posts might seem like a long way away from the perspective that you are, but it really isn't that hard. Just respond to simple discussions and soon you'll be able to copy and paste. I know that your not using mylot to cheat and anything like that, but mylot needs that rule in order to stop spammers.

Like some users responses above, we only can have copy paste feature if our posts activities are reach 500 posts. me myself, use copy paste for sharing link because i often get some mistakes for type the link manually. For articles, i am rarely using the copy paste feature, but do not forget to give the sources below it. happy myLot

Well yeah of they course they block copy and paste for those under 500 posts...they leave it only for the dedicated users who are more trusted than every random persona that joins the site because it pretty easy to cheat, I mean let's say that someone asks for movie recommendations and someone replies with a huge post which is basically: I like xyz series take a look: [Copy pasted wikipedia article #1] [Copy pasted wikipedia article #2] And so on...since the site cares not about how many posts you make but how big your posts are then you'll get like, 10 cents from that post only... I wouldn't be surprised if when I get to 500 and start copy pasting I see a message that I've already copy pasted for the day and can't do it more than once or that i can copy paste a certain number of characters or something...the latter is easy to get rid of, just copy paste in parts but the first (or both would really be annoying...)

why you re-write at here ? wait until you get copy and paste at mylot requires posting a lot

Well copy pasting here is not allowed. It's because they would think that you copy your description from other members. That means that it's not original anymore. right. You might want to type it again here than copy pasting it. That is the next most reasonable option.
