Auto Restarting Modem

Thats a weird problem! Is ur connection ADSL? If it is then thats normal. If not try reinstalling the modem software. Else try system restore?(if nothing works)

I've got the same problem and it was because of my power feeder. It got voltage jumps so that made my modem restart every now and then. It could last for few hours before it started working normaly again. When an electrician came and changed it everything came back to norm.

hi rhodes, try uninstall & reinstall. check the modem dialing settings. also check with the ISP to make sure the connection is alright.

Hey, I don't really know how to answer your question, maybe you could try contacting the manufacturer or updating/changing the firmware. If you have an external modem then you can just reset all the settings in the modem and try again. If you have a problem again then just make sure that all connections to the modem are perfectly done. you can also try and reinstall modem drivers if it is an internal modem or a usb modem
