What makeup do you think is the best? How do you know which colors are best for you? What do you think is better, mineral makeup or liquid makeup? I only wear makeup when I have to leave the house. I am a stay at home mom, so I don't get out much. I would like to wear makeup everyday, but look more natural. I want the makeup to look different or special on special occasions. What do you suggest? I also want to look good, but not too made up. I have a limited budget.

for sensitive skin. u can use mineral or VMV(they use virgin coconut oil-the cold press one and it really works but its much expensive though than regular make up)
we have different shapes of eyes and skin types. your foundation or face powder has to be a tone lighter than yours or it has to be the one that is closest to your skin tone. in term of eye color, match it with browns and pinks but never a blue eyeshadow. coordinate eyeshadows with your eyes and hair and not the clothes you wear. If u also have blonde hair with the blue eyes, the best colors are violets and lavender. With regards to everyday make up, i suggest just use foundation, concealer and just really light earth color eye shadows, some brown liquid liner and mascara and light pink lipstick or lipgloss. peach blush, a light brush on your cheeks and your good to go. never overdo it. it just putting a lil color on the cheeks to give it that fresh and lively look during the day. i hope i helped u out. feel free to pm me if u have questions. i love cosmetics and i love to help out people if they seek for suggestions. have a nice day!

Thank you for all of the advise for makeup ideas. I still haven't decided on one. I was in Target the other day and Physicians Formula had a mineral makeup kit. It didn't have a price on it though. I may try that once I find out how much it is. I have blemishes and flaws so I need more than what a liquid can cover. Or at least I haven't found a liquid that covers my flaws very well.

concealer plus the foundation and loose powder will help cover those blemishes. U know what though, its much better if you can treat your blemishes and that way you dont have to do all the covering everytime you wake up. drink lots of water and release all the stress in life. We get all these stuff on our face because of the S-T-R-E-S-S. maybe you are trying to find a product to help you with the problem. you could always buy the makeup and the same time work on treating those blemishes. what do u think?

Different makeup works best for different skin types and tones. The best way to figure out what foundation color works for you is to put a little bit on your jaw line and blend in. Thats the best way to find the right color for your face. As for liquid or powder, I like both it just depends on the brand of the makeup. Some liquids get in your pores and can make it easier for you to breakout (at least in my case) and powders feel lighter on your face. As for eyeshadow colors, I know Ive seen a lot of people try to match it with the color of thier clothes thats not how to do it. To find the best color for you find colors that complement your eye color. For instance my eyes are blue, the colors that go best are brown tones cause they bring out the blue in my eyes. If you not sure what color would go best with your eye color they have makeup at the stores like walmart that say right on them they are for certain eye colors.

i like mineral make up. the color of your makeup must be coordinate with the color of your skin. it supposed to match the color and be less noticeable. like me, my skin color is tan so i use light brown during day time. but at night i can use heavy colors to enhance my eyes and make it looks more noticeable. eye color at night becomes look more beautiful than daytime.

Hi bmuchler :)
I've been wearing makeup since I was 12 years
old and can't go without it.
If i do, I feel NAKED LOL.
Over the Years I have tried many different
foundations and some broke me out really bad.
The cover girl clean makeup was cheap and my skin
tolerated it very well.
My Daughter introduced me to ID mineral makeup and
I've been hooked on it ever since. Especially since my Skin
started to have wrinkles and lines and sagging
...you know the whole works about aging lol,
The mineral makeup just works for me, it makes me look
younger and covers those darn white spots left behind
from the sun. I get compliments on my skin every time
I wear it.it looks very natural.
I buy it on eBay and get a good price.
Have a great day!

I like BOBBI BROWN best. It's world-famous and proffessional. It has a variety of cosmetics and tools to choose.Everytime I choose the colour,I will let the cosmetician to recommend a colour .Then I will wear it to see whether it suits me.If I am satisfied with it,I will buy it.If u r gong to the party, you can choose some colours in sharp contrast.Blue or black aremy favourite colour. In daily life, you can choose light brown to seem more natural and elegant.Wish you a great day!

There is not so much occasions for me to go to party or date. So, I just wear a thin BB Cream (the most polular product these days) first, then mascara, a little pink blush and final orange lip gloss. I think it will make me looks more comfortable and natural. But of cource, the make up could covers my nose pore.^^
