So, the title says it all. Do you know how to dance?? There are many occasions when we celebrate, rocking with the music i.e dance!!
I don't know how to dance, actually I do but I don't feel comfortable while dancing. That's probably cause of my skinny build.

I am learning to belly dance and a lot of the moves can be applied to hiphop beats. I don't dance well, but as long as I don't do anything outrageous I feel okay dancing among friends. ^_^

yes but im not a very good dancer or professional dancer who can dance those great step like what we saw over television or concert. I just dance base on the step i know, just a simple moves that goes along with the music. good music will make you learned how to dance even if you dont know how. listening to music will makes you move and feel like dancing.

Yeah, its true, body responds to the music but I feel shy and quite alien when dancing amongst friends as it appears all of them know the moves unlike me.
Well, I'll take a chance and dance in my room as an intial step. Thanks for your response!

I dont know how to dance but i enjoy doing steps and with that bundle of steps a dance is made, not perfect but enough good for me. I will some day learn and then will be able to say that yes i can also dance well.
i try many a times with stupid steps or steps going wrong, but i am learning to be good.

Definitely, dance comprises of steps and these steps are what I am always afraid of. Most of the times, I am blank at the rhythm about how to move and what to move??!! Lol, all the best to you friend!! Thanks for your response.

Hey, for me, I cannot say I really know how to dance, but at least I can wave with the music, and shake a little bit. I know what you feel about being not comfortable while dancing. I had that feeling too, however, I just felt uncomfortable about what people think about me and I am not confident to dance. So, be confident to do the things that you wanna do. There is nothing too difficult if you put your heart on it.Carry on! Do not think about your skinny build, dancing is dancing! Just dance!

Sad to say I can't dance I'm only sing. I remember my high school days our P.E in high school is ballroom I hate to dance and I can't follow the steps now matter how I tried. Among our family only my youngest sister know how to dance. I don't have a gift in dancing.

Found a match, even I can sing but cannot dance!! Its the same problem with me, remembering the steps. And actually, I feel its pointless to learn steps, why should we do that?! I mean, I want myself to be so able as to move along with the rhythm spontaneously!

ya it's nice question... and i tell you that I like dancing or i say I love dancing.
and it is my one of the hobby it's very simple you have to just use your parts of body which include everything don't think so much I'm talking about you hand, legs, neck and there is requirement of facial expression which is very imp thing based on lyrics.... and you have to careful during dancing which is one of the imp. part of it.
if you heard about "AEROBICS" AND YOU HAVE AN EXPERIENCE ABOUT IT THEN YOU CAN PERFORM VERY WELL IN EVERY OCCASION whatever they are!!
Because i have an experience about it i have won silver medal...
I could have been a good dancer but due to some reasons i couldn't make it so don't worry starts to learn some basic steps of aerobics in you part time then you feel very comfortable when you dance....
HApPY MYLOTING................

Hey, never knew about that medal thing, Congrats on that. Dance comprises of so many things along with the basic steps or movement. I liked that facial expression part that you'd mentioned and yeah it is imperative to give positive expression while you are dancing. Lol, you can't dance like a robo!!
Thanks for giving me a sight of how to give it a start. I'll definitely go through some videos on Aerobics and hope, I'll be able to do it in the end. Thanks for your response!

Haha, good one!! No, actually the moment I start shaking body, I feel am going to fall anytime. I am tall, very slim and that poses a problem of carrying myself. Yeah, I agree a fat person doesn't look good dancing! Thanks for your response!

Hi whizkid08,
Cannot dance like most of the people you see on the Television. Wish I could dance like Patrick Swayze, Gene Anthony Ray and so on. Love to Dance to any sort of music but my kind of dancing. Usually dance on my own when no one is around. I love any dance form of any kind even if it might seem a bit strange to me at first. I loved the Film "Flashdance" that is how I would like to be able to dance.

I do not feel comfortable myself dancing either. I have no rhythm. I am not graceful enough. I can slow dance and rack back and forth like at a middle school dance. I got that one down. In fact, I am an expert in that area. I bet most people are not good dancers because they do not feel comfortable like us.

Yeah, agreed. Most people take it this way, dancing gives an ecstatic feeling but then this fear takes it all down. Thanks for responding.
