Of course, everyone of us here has computer, we can't do mylotting manually. But, are you satisfied with the performance of your unit? There are some of us, thought their computer is old in model but the are contented with the performance. Some are really branded and new one but still longing to have the most advance and fast in processing. How about you guys, are you contented with yours?

But,i am happy to have a new laptop (a gift from mmmm)a new Acer dual core with 3Gig Memory and 320GB HDD. I am a gadget conscious,as long as it works on it's purpose.

Hi there, unfortunately I have to say that I am not very happy with the performance of my laptop. It is running very slow as it just meets vista's minimum requirements. I guess that the made this laptop in a hurry to be able to install vista on. I must have to upgrade the ram. The other thing is that my graphic card is very bad. It is an integrated graphics card so I cannot play the latest games.

No, no and no. for sure not. My computer needs to be formated, it´s completely full of archives right now but I can´t empty it cause the combo is broken and I don´t have a dvd recorder. I´ts getting slower and slower everyday and always showing new problems. But for now I have to use it just like that cause I am out of money to send it to the repair.

Yeah, but no. hahah,YES coz it's running smoothly, while No because my 2nd HDD has too many bad sectors and it's kinda dying. My problem is, Many of the parts of my PC is phase out already, So I have to buy a new mobo for that, and upgrade it. Dang! All in all, It's fine ^_~

im happy with my laptop, not exstatic but pleased. I have a 7" netbook as my primary computer as it was cheap and with the relevant upgrades such as increased ram, windows instead of linux and ms office it functions perfectly to my needs. Do i really need a new laptop? No but i would love one that was a strain to read a blog and one that touch typing was possible on,(as the keyboard is VERY cramped). The processor isnt exactly a workhorse but it does the job. Happy mylotting

I had to purchase a new computer just a few months back as my 13+ year old computer, which worked very well for me had a hard drive fry. I am for the most part very content with my new one the only problem I have with it is that it is so much newer and so is the windows version, that it has taken me a while to get myself familiar with it. I will say that I really do LOVE the flat screen monitor though versus my BIG old monitor. Oh yeah, and my hyperspeed laser mouse.

Well, I am very much satisfied with the performance of my computer. I have it for a year already and it works perfectly fine and fast. Up until now, I have no complaints. I usually defragment, scan for viruses, update from time to time and I think this is the reason that until now, I find it very efficient.

I'm not contented with the performance of my computer. I want more RAM and quad processor. Since I don't have enough money to buy those. I will kept my computer till I buy those things I like to be with my computer... My computer is 9 month old. But because of the fast advance of technology. It seems that it is 9 year old now. There's a lot of new technology that coming out from the market. RAM,processors,Board, peripherals, accessories all are new.

on the contrary my PC is an assembled one. and i had to replace its RAM only once. if your computer has become slow it does not mean you have to upgrade. it means that there are some files in your computer that slow it down. use disc cleanup, disk defragmenter and a good registry cleaner and you will definitely notice an improvement in your computers speed. good luck.

Over all speaking i am quite content with the working of this pc however i do want to upgrade, simply because it can be upgraded. For example, i can use some more RAM to help with pc slowing and i definitely need more hard disk space.. a new graphics card would be cool as well. And i want a new better joystick as well.

I understand my friend zadek. Maybe you're a gamer. Why would you not change if you can afford to do so...mine is also good but it slows now compared before. I need to have a new one but I can't afford it yer, so I better work hard yet to reach big payout...thanks for responding...

lol, I am not exactly a gamer. I don't really get much time to play games, but I do like to play some games when I get a little time. However, my pc has started slowing down and i need more disk-space. I figured, if i am getting RAM and a disk-drive, why not upgrade it completely.

After i upgraded RAM of my computer into 1 GB, I'm satisfied with the performance now. Before, i felt so crazy because my computer is very slow, and always hang each time i close more than 2 applications. But now, not anymore. Its become faster. And i can open many applications at a time. But i still have a plan to buy the new notebook, because my notebook is old model, and its so heavy.

I always seem to be upgrading my PC's (I actually use two..) and although they are on relatively old platforms (socket 939), you can still get used parts from eBay. I just fitted a dual core CPU in one PC and upgraded the other one to the fastest single core that I could afford. I am always adding drives (internal and external) and RAM up to capacity (one has 2GB, the other 3GB). I now have a stack of components that I need to sell on eBay including at least four old motherboards. I will probably continue doing this by getting a more modern motherboard soon and upgrading to triple or quad core - I don't need to, I'm just hooked!

Not right now. I have been fighting with my computer most of the day. I have it up and running somewhat. I do wish it would move faster and load faster. It used to be really fast but I know I have something that is slowing it down. I have spent a large part of today optimizing my system.

Was it still the same if you restart it? Well if it would be still the same. look for someone who could reformat it, if you have a dvd writer transfer all your files and reformat it again...after that get download a reliable anti-virus...good luck..thanks for responding...

Well my computer is pretty old and was slowing down a little. Last week I bought 2 extra Gigabytes of memory and it has made a huge difference. So the old machine may last a little while longer yet, hopefully. - Derek

Hello mobhomeir. I am contented with the performance of my old laptap. It has been upgraded with some of the parts, mainly the memory stick and the hardware two years ago. Compared with new ones, mine does not work that fast if games are played, but I don't usually play games. I am looking forward to a new one, but I will still wait till it does not work so smoothly some day. At least, it is working perfect right now.

No I friggin HATE my computer!! It never works properly. It's a Gateway and I've discovered that this brand sucks. Everyone who has a Gateway who I've talked to says that they suck and I definitely agree. I really want to get a new computer once I get the money, but judging from the way things have been going, that's a long way off.
