Hi Friends,
We all have friends and we love the company of our friends. We used to hang out with our friends and we love to do that and we share a lot with them and we can't live without friends.
How often you visit your friend at their home and how long will you stay there? Do you visit your friends daily or weekly or monthly or yearly. Do your friend will be really happy for your visit if it is daily or weekly?
Will you visit him/her often. If you offer a stay in your frind's house how long can you stay and will you be a one in your friend's family?

Share your experience and views on this...
Cheers... Have a nice day always...

Most of the time when we go to visit a friend's house it is for a playgroup with the kids. These usually last about 1.5-2 hours so that is how often we will typically stay. We usually do this about one time a week at a different person's house.
Were it not for our friends hostessing playgroups at their homes, I don't think we would visit very often at all. The reason for this is that I feel very uncomfortable when I am at someone else's house. I really feel like I am impeding on them.

Hi dorannmwin,
Nice to hear from you. What you said is great and I too feel the same way and I won't stay a long time or day. I stayed for days but now I can't because of my busy schedule.. Thanks for joining in this discussion.
Cheers... Have a nice day always...

I do visit my friends houses and its so nice to be around with our friends no matter where we are. They come to my home more than I go to theirs and well at their homes I do stay long when they do not have any other engagements as such,it would be not so fine if we go out there when they are busy and after some tasks, its better one gives a call and go for proper time management too one can be more filled with presence of mind, I guess. Most of my friends have left for their college hostels for their further studies and its always been joy when we all meet, never mind here or there.

Though I have friends, I dont really go to their place very often.. only during festivals or any function at their place, I keep in touch through phone.. but I make an effort sometimes and we go for picnic or catch a movie together something like that... so that way also we are meeting them, if I go to their place it will be only for 1 or 2 hours not more than that....

I hardly ever hang out any more. I am really busy. The only time I really get to myself is in the middle of the night and usually I use that for sleeping. I am so, so glad that tomorrow...actually technically today; it's 1:30am..is Labor Day. I don't have school or work, so I can relax a bit, but I still have lots to catch up with.

Hardly ever, now. In fact, it's been years since I've visited a friend ever since I bought this house with my girlfriend. I used to go there once a week and I could stay for hours; one or two-o-clock in the morning. I know that's bad. I have a friend who who would be very happy if I came over. I never spent the night. It's just that the girlfriend I'm with, who I've been with for years had a husband who went out with his friends every night. I guess I feel like I want to make up for that, even though I know she would have no problems with me doing that a few times a year. But I need to call and visit.

Hi Philip,
Yes I do go to my friend's house (not a single friend). I go from this friend during this week, and another friend the next week. Something like that. It's because i feel that we should somehow make connections with our friends. A friendship that is not nourished may not die but somehow is weak. I think friendship too need to be cultivated with time.
How long i usually stay at my friend's house. Usually an hour. well that depends how busy i am and also my friend/s.
Good day philip.

I don't use to go from friend to friend house. I might keep on contact through email or cell phone. Maybe because my friend living far away from where I live. I just don't want to go too far, and stay there for just a couple of minutes.

Ok well first off I just want to say that I'm married, and no kids yet...Anyway, when we first got married, my husband & I said that we did not want to have the typical marriage, as in have kids and entire life is wrapped around kids, with no social life, or outside interests. Therefore I've made it a point early on to have an active social life and pursue my interests which include seeing friends regularly. Though most of my friends I don't see that regularly maybe once or twice a year, there are a couple that I see once a week for coffee or a lunch, just to catch up. There is also a friend that I am trying to see less and less, and sort of "filter" her out of my life. She's one of those draining "drama queen" types that will wear you down with her endless demands, complaints, etc. However, recently she broke her foot so she's been needing me to drive her around weekly for her endless appointments. I think to myself that prior to that I saw her maybe once a month or every other month and that was preferable. My solution is that I'm going to tell her I'll be out of the country for 2 mos so that I don't have to be stuck driving her around. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

Oh sorry guess I forgot to answer the other part of the question, how long will I stay and visit. Ok, well if it's that fried that I don't want to hang out with that's been draining me,as little as possible. Though usually I'm "stuck" in her company driving and wheeling her around for a few hours. :( With other people I'll usually visit for an hour or two.

My friends always treat me as family and so I am always able to stay at any of their places for an unlimited amount of time but due to courtesy, I make sure that I make stays only no longer than 2 weeks or so.

When I was in school, I love to go over my friend's house play games, and other stuff. We can hang around the apartment complex, and walk around to see girls.
Now I am grown, and having a job, and a girlfriend. I won't be able to come to my friends house as often as I could. I could visit my friend like once in two or three months? Sometimes, worse than that. We contact each other through email or cell phones. Sometimes, we just meet each other at some restaurant.

I rarely go to my friend house unless she invites me or their is a party. i usually love the comfort of my home than anyone homes. also, I do not like to disturb her eventually comes up as annoying. I only go to my friend house when we have important things to attend like we talk before to meet at her house in order to attend a meeting or fixing a business transactions..I think the only length of my stay in a normal visit could last longer than 30 minutes and the shorter length is 15 minutes. When their is parties, I usually stay for almost 2 hours, then bade goodbye to go home afterward..

Sometimes, there is a party, I just won't go either. I just couldn't stay for other reasons. Maybe the people there I don't know makes me uncomfortable. I just couldn't stay too long in a party sometimes.

I never go to a friends house. I do not really have any to go to actually. I know some people but do not really consider them to be my friends. I really do not have the time to visit. I work seven days a week.

I don't visit my friend's house since their house are really far. That is why if we need to see each other we will just see each other inside a mall where everyone will be ok. My friends during grade school and highschool, I can visit their houses since its near my place but on some I can't. Recently I haven't experience staying at friend's house. but if I stay with them it will take me 3 or 4 hours there just talking with them.

I would say that I probably visit my friend's house maybe three or four times a week but I used to do it more before all my best friend's moved away to go to college. I don't stay at people's houses as much as I used to any more either but that's okay. I generally stay at a friend's house probably either one or two times a week.

Hello, phillip. I don't go often to my close friend's house, I only visit her once or twice a month depending of her husband schedule. My friend's husband often envy her wife friends. Actually, I'm not used to hang out in my friends place, they are the one who regularly visit me until dawn (that was before when I was not yet serious of my life and committed to my fiance). Keep posting with good topic, Philly.
